Subby's chin still has the high score.

Subby's chin sees more balls than a driving range on Sunday.

W/o Beckham, Robbie Keane wouldn't have figured out that there's a pro soccer team in Los Angeles. For that alone, he's been a good buy. However, there are at least 5 players more important to the Galaxy than Becks (Landon, Keane, Omar Gonzales, Junihnio, Mike McGee). But w/o Becks, we don't get Keane. Next year will be scary; Becks gone, maybe Landon, maybe Omar goes to Europe, I think Keane has one year left on his deal, Junihnio is still on loan. This team might get utterly gutted.

Does this give credit to the snoop lion story where he claims to want to bring beckham to celtic if he gets to buy a portion of the club?

Snoop said he was trying to lure him away already....

On top of all that, the importance of Beckham in raising the level of MLS to a viable world league was huge. Players are starting to look at the US as an actual option. That has been invaluable. And I say the as a Sounders fan.

I'll bet since Kaka's comments about being interested in MLS, LA might try to attract him now. Though I'd put money on him wanting to join the Cosmos if their bid to join MLS goes through.

/Loved the Red Bulls game I saw, but it'd be sweet to have a team closer to NYC itself.

MLS are working on a stadium in Queens (for the Cosmos presumably). Bloomberg has fast tracked the project to be finished for approval before he leaves office.

Good...would they then pull members up from the current Cosmos team?

//Good luck Becks and thank you

And, here in the states, he's still nothing more than Mr. Posh Spice.

Oh I know about those plans...but they've sort of been in bureaucratic limbo for a while now. Not everyone wants to see the stadium built.

Though if it finally goes through, I've heard the prospective location would be near Citi Field, which would totally make my day.

But the Galaxy's owner is one of the richest men in the US and the salary cap doesn't apply to the Galaxy.

Here in Mayberry, I mean Hooterville, I mean Salt Lake City; Checketts isn't going to spend enough money to keep anyone who can tie their shoes on the first try.

And yet RSL has been more successful than the Red Bull/Metrostars who have had all that money poured into them.

David Beckham sucks.

Why wait until after next month?

Beckham is off to Wet Ham. The Chocolate Disgrace is begging to come back to Chelski and Titi is warming up with the gunners.

The band is getting back together.
