wademh: No, not really. You were there in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.
0Icky0: Headso: Fox news was totally wrong about the Romney landslide, I would think if you watched fox news for their accuracy in reporting you might jump ship after that debacle. You might think that. But only a couple of days later I see one of my brothers pushing Dick Morris' Black Helicopter book on Facebook./Triple Fark...he's a NASA scientist.
Mrtraveler01: I still can't figure out how one can be an atheist and "aspire to be a person of faith".It's not that hard. You can be a Christian anytime you want, no one is stopping you.
Wessoman: Dusk-You-n-Me: I'd like to see the numbers for Up With Chris. Fantastic show, seems to be building a following.I just wanted to say THIS. Chris Hayes is probably the most intelligent roundtable discussion show, period. Basically, it's what McLaughlin has been trying to do his entire career but did not have the talent to do. Personally, I think he should get an hour a night, talk about one subject, and move Ed earlier or whatever.
Ablejack: From there and in the field he worked alongside Mother Theresa (herself an atheist who aspired to be a person of faith)
Lionel Mandrake: Diogenes: I never took this seriously when Bill-O and Olbermann were having their ratings spats. Why should it matter to me now? I know what I like to watch. What everyone else watches is their business.I only care to the extent that Hannity is annoyed/angered/bothered by drawing less of an audience than Maddow. That has to stick in his craw, and that happies me.
Cataholic: Actual headline (three blogs in to the actual source)Maddow, O'Donnell Win Demo Last Week, But Fox News Still on Top in PrimetimeLinkwelcometofark.jpg
nekom: I hate to break it to you, but Australia is NOT more conservative than the United States. No nation outside of the Islamic world is. Sorry, there's just nowhere for you guys to go. Liberals have tons of options, as there are PLENTY of nations more liberal than the USA.
Happy Hours: Interesting, but I'm still disturbed that most of you treat this as a college football rivalry. Woohoo!!!!! The liberals are winning!!! Take that Fox News!.Maybe we should care more about our country than we do about our political affiliation.
abb3w: I wonder how much of this is from conservatives no longer being able to stand watching the news.
sid2112: Uh, no they didn't....http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/11/20/cable-news-ratings-for-mo n day-november-19-2012/158364/
Ablejack: CapeFearCadaver: Ablejack: O'Reilly cares about ratings. He has often argued that Fox's higher rating meant conservatism is evidently the more popular philosophy. Now I suppose Bill O'Reilly thinks the liberal voice better expresses the beliefs and concerns of our nation.I wonder if they realize just how many people who don't agree with them watch/listen to them... I'm talking about Beck, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, etc..../especially RushTrue, I watch Fox at times and occasionally enjoy Rush Limbaugh's inane blathering as well. Keep your friends close...
Duke Phillips' Singing Bears: Wessoman: Dusk-You-n-Me: I'd like to see the numbers for Up With Chris. Fantastic show, seems to be building a following.I just wanted to say THIS. Chris Hayes is probably the most intelligent roundtable discussion show, period. Basically, it's what McLaughlin has been trying to do his entire career but did not have the talent to do. Personally, I think he should get an hour a night, talk about one subject, and move Ed earlier or whatever.Or we could just axe Ed altogether. I like Maddow and Hayes, but Ed sucks. The left doesn't need a Limbaugh.
0Icky0: Cythraul: I'd probably hate living in another country anyway. Would be too much of a culture shock. It's the culture shock that makes it so very enjoyable. Without it, I wouldn't have bothered.
Elbarfo: Yay! One source of propaganda traded for another. Both full of lies. Nice.
Cythraul: I like culture shocks, while I'm learning about a nation and culture while I'm visiting. But while trying to live there? It'd probably make me home sick.
Crikey. Forget what I said in that other thread-
STOP THE BOATS
palladiate: Happy Hours: ginandbacon: Maybe you should direct that at the House GOP assholesGo Team Dems! You tell those GOP assholes!Rah rah rah! You're proving my point. You care more about denigrating the other party than you do about your country and for that I say fark you.Yes, because this year we were so overwhelmed by liberal hyperpartisanship that every single pollster thought the liberals would sit at home on election day, cheering so hard they forgot to vote.
