That was 9 years ago?

I am so old. (pops)

That's a bummer for him. On a much more tragic note, I had him and Gronkowski on my fantasy football team.

I did too, after winning this weekend I'm tied for the last playoff spot. So long hopes and dreams.

Dropped McGahee, picked up Stephens-Howling. Sounds more like names from a fantasy UK Second League soccer team.

So Peyton will keep up his game despite having no runners? Let's find out...

Add me to the Gronk / McGehee crew. At least I have a strong hold on 2nd place. Hoping for Hernandez from the waiver wire tomorrow and figure I will give Hillman a shot.

yeah, even live action pre-HD i was like, "uhhh.....i think.....i just.....uhh......legs aren't supposed to bend that way......"

i lived in tempe at the time and in the early 4th, i rode down to the stadium and watched the final 5:00 or so from a bar just outisde the stadium. it was weird to hear the roar of action inside the stadium, but due to the 7 second or whatever delay, not know what happened on TV. (referring of course to the PI call(s).)

Mill Ave was a madhouse after the game. Riot cops, mounted cops, drunk fans......first time and last time I can remember seeing cops in riot gear.

it's farking football, people. jesus.

Um, Beanie Wells is about to be inserted back into the line-up for Arizona which will cut into LSH's carries. You would be better off picking up Hillman.

Um yeah, good luck with that. The Broncos have ALREADY clinched the AFC West, they'll give your Ray-duhs ANOTHER beatdown shortly, and they'll coast into the playoffs with plenty of time for Willis to heal up. Meanhile, your Ray-duhs have stunk on ice since 1984 while the Broncos have taken 2 Super Bowls. And you're not happy because you know we have a chance to take another trophy this year, while your crap team competes for a top draft pick. Suck it, Ray-duh Nation!

I fully expect the Buffalo Bills to sign him in the off season.

Whoa! Negative Nelly alert!

I wouldn't bank on much of a collapse enroute to the playoffs. Ball, Moreno, Johnson and Hillman are on deck and ready to run. I like Hillman (he'll likley move into the primary role), and there is always a chance he takes the field and lights it on fire. It's not like the Broncos are being carried on the backs of the running game anyway, they just need halfway decent production. They are well covered in any case.

I can easily see a 1st-round playoff choke happening though.

Why would you pick both Cutler and Vick? Both huge injury risks and neither is that good (other than Vick in 2010)...

I remember turning to my buddy and exclaiming that Ohio State had just won the National Championship, as I rewound the Tivo to watch it again (and again, and again...). I really feel bad for this guy, though. He has a good amount of talent, just knees that won't stand up to the fight.

Plus, as a Denver Broncos fan, I have got to wonder where they get a running game to continue to compliment Manning.

The Raiders have stunk since 1984? So they didn't make the playoffs in '85, '90, '91, '93, '00, '01, and '02, including a Super Bowl appearance? They weren't one of the best offenses (and solid defensively) during Gruden's tenure? Hell, between 1985 and 2002, the Raiders had 5 losing seasons. Only an idiot would call that time period "stunk on ice".

/'03 to '09 is a whole different story, however.

Not really scary. Guy has had an amazingly long career up to this point.

Hope he can walk normally when he's 50.

Manning doesn't need a great running back, just a decent one. He won the Super Bowl with Joseph Addai and Dominic Rhodes as his RBs.

Also the Broncos only face one real defense for the rest of their schedule, not to mention two games against the Chiefs. I think Manning will keep putting up respectable (for him) numbers, barring an injury of course.

This. From what I've seen he's what No-show Moreno aspires to be.

Let's put it this way...he'd have easily knocked Ryan Mathews out of the starting spot if the Chargers had been smart enough to draft him.

Beanie Wells is coming back. You're better off with him, Hillman from the Broncos or Parmele from the jags.
