I could survive a week being slightly hungry every day that week if I had too. hell, I could do it not eating anything if I had too. a month or longer is a whole different beast.

Why would he do that when it's obviously the opposite of the point he's trying to prove?

I liked how he was letting people just hang out at his house after Sandy...letting them use the power to charge cellphones and whatnot.

There was something about that....well beyond just your typical "I'm doing this for the PR/Political impact."

It's not necessary to hop back and forth between Twitter accounts in order to get screengrabs of the conversation. You can get it just as easily, and with none of the duplicates, by opening the conversation from the most recent tweet in it.

Do you live in Manhattan? *clicks profile* What? I live in Chicago and spend about that much. It's not hard at all if you cook for yourself.

I tend to agree. I spend about $70 a week, and want for nothing. And a good $10-$15 of that is cat food, depending on if they need both canned and dry, or just canned that week. Last night was pork roast, mashed potatoes, gravy and salad. Grocery bill from this past saturday was $91, but that includes household staples of TP, paper towels, beer, a couple bottles of wine and some extra prep ingredients for the upcoming Thanksgiving feast, and a $5 donation to the "Stuff the Bus" food drive. There was a thread a few months ago that made me actually sit down and divide out my grocery receipt for a few trips to see what I was spending, and not all the extra stuff. Food came out to about $45 a week. With all the other normal household stuff, about $60-$70 a week, depending on what was needed.

Are you serious? I spend quite a less than this in a week. I eat mostly fruits, veggies, and fish.
