For those of you who are about to jump in and say, "THAT'S NOT IRONIC;" it, in fact, is. It's called "comedic irony." Because I don't care who you are, that shiat's funny!

I don't know the finicky details of how the system ID's message origins, but could Twitter not know the difference between a mobile iOS message and a Win8 RT message?

Or has twitter gone and not produced a Win8 RT app?

It comes down to the browser user agent.. I could make Twitter think I'm posting from an Ipad on my Windows 8 PC using Chrome.. Long story short.. `She' would have to go out of her way to make an Windows Tablet report as a Ipad..

I can't help but read Windows RG every time I see RT. Are the developers at Microsoft completely unaware of this mockery or did they do it on purpose?

After watching Apple do it for a decade, MS has realized that this won't be won on the merits of product alone.

I remember reading that while Android devices outsell Apple, IOS accounts for more web traffic, meaning Apple devices are more heavily used.

Wow, a paid Apple shrill in the very Boobies.

I've used both and I can't imagine anyone raving about Surface, even though I think it's better than the iPad. It's not like banging Roseanne Barr and then getting a shot at Anne Hathaway. More like Hayden Panetierre and then Vanessa Hudgens.

I love my surface. It is way better than any Ipad in every respect.

She's an ol lady, always ask old ladies about new tech. They're known for keeping up on these things.

That's not actually how this works.

Twitter apps use authentication tokens, which are tied to the particular app. "Twitter for iPad" is the name for the official iPad app. If they were using Tweetbot or Twitterrific or something it'd show up as coming from that client.

She is probably the biggest twunt in the world.

The obscenity in this is that Oprah™ received around 15 grand for that tweet (based on past reporting).

The next level of obscenity is that 15 Grand is pretty reasonable for that level of reach, and that they will probably easily sell that many tablets based on the inception-desire created by Oprah™
