Are they really considered triplets if multiple women birthed them?

They sound fat.

Cute babies. It sounds like the Mom in the article really struggled to ensure they were as healthy as possible. She had to have been tempted to go along with the medical teams' suggestion to get them out earlier.

Carrying twins to 37 weeks was probably the hardest thing I've ever done physically. I salute this woman. I can't even imagine how hard it must have been.

/spent the last two weeks in my recliner on "bed rest"

"Their [Brittany and Jason] pregnancy is completely spontaneous. Brittany conceived the three boys without use of any fertility treatment. ..

...We want to make sure Sidney is doing well on both," said Gilbert who is also the medical director of Sutter Moms of Multiples. MOMs is a Sutter Medical Center care facility that provides comprehensive support to mothers expecting multiple babies.

Deen, an oncology nurse at UC Davis Medical Center, joined MOMs as soon as she heard she was pregnant. At MOMs, Deen was mentored on how to follow a diet to nourish her and the fetuses.

So she had triplets purely by chance with no fertility treatments, but then as soon as she finds out she is pregnant she joins a group that helps parents of multiples? Did she get three lines on the pee stick or what?

She took 3 tests, and they all came up positive. QED.

Only 70 lbs? My second sister gained that carrying one; both times. Never lost any of it either.

I'm actually behind the pregnancy-weight-gain schedule according to my doctor. It's the first time in my adult life a doctor has ordered me to try to eat more and gain weight.

That happened to me also. I worked through nearly all of my pregnancy. Before marriage I had agreed to take the last lunch break in the office. Once I was pregnant, no one in the office saw any overwhelming need to switch the lunch schedule. Also, I threw up so much I had to keep a trashcan for that purpose right under my desk. My doctor ordered me to eat more fatty foods, but I just threw them up again. Although I had been a meat eater, I couldn't hold it down at all. Even the smell of it cooking made me throw up. Then we went to South America for a week. I was confined to a boat most of the time. If I hadn't been pregnant, the boredom would have driven me to fling myself into the Amazon. But I was pregnant which means I was tired and hungry. I napped every day for a week. Meals were buffet feasts with loads of vegetables and local grains and juices. Dessert was served after lunch and dinner. There were all these fabulous cakes filled with fresh fruit. By the time we got back, I had caught up where I was supposed to be on weight gain. My doctor joked he was going to have to start sending all his poor gainers to the Amazon region.

I know! How dare she pop out three big, healthy babies? All the cool moms have super preemies. Its even more chic if they miscarry due to malnutrition.

I'm working hard at it to gain some - but seriously, a person can only eat so much in one day.
Before I was pregnant I never would have thought the words "But I'm so tired of eating" would ever ever have come out of my mouth.
