Hagenhatesyouall: [encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com image 244x180]Some people enjoy taking a shyte on their sexual partner. That doesn't mean there needs to be a g'damn thread greenlit about people shyting on each other every day.Enough with the farking "vegan" bullshyte on the main page, it's almost as stupid as all the farking "petition" threads.

WhippingBoy: mafiageek1980: WhippingBoy: mafiageek1980: But why not talk to more than just 1 vegan and get a better idea of what we REALLY eatWhy in the name of all that's decent and holy would I *care* what you eat????Good Point. But perhaps if you take time to see what we do eat than maybe all the hate towards Vegans/Vegetarians would slack off a bit. I'm a bit fed up with the hate towards those of us who CHOOSE not to eat meat. If you are gonna diss us, at least diss us in the right way: Stinky Vegans. Why? Because it's an open secret in the Vegan world that we tend to fart more. See? Now you have a CORRECT generalization about us: We fart a LOT!So yeah, what I am really saying is: Shut the fark up with the stereotypes/assumptions. You are only making yourself look like a moron.Quit preaching, and/or stop your ilk from doing the same, and I think you'll find that the stereotypes/assumptions will be greatly reduced.I realize that I'm painting with a broad brush here, but in my experience, vegans aren't content to just be vegans; they have this unholy need to let everyone know that they're vegans.
Notabunny: I've done a very similar butternut squash and sweet potato soup for years.
coco ebert: If it tastes good, I'm game.
Coco LaFemme: I don't get the hate for vegetarianism/veganism
DamnYankees: Coco LaFemme: I don't get the hate for vegetarianism/veganism. Yes, some of them can be obnoxious douchebags, but the same can be said for any group of people; they're no different or special. I happen to like vegetarian and vegan dishes as much as dishes that have meat in them. I would be comfortable at either group of people's dinner table, no matter what they served.Just because Thanksgiving is traditionally loaded with meat, doesn't mean people who don't eat meat have to sleep through Thursday to get to Friday. That's ridiculous. Why are you bringing up 'hate'? We just think this food is gross.
