Godscrack: Police can hear all the cab dispatches anyway. Then you're put on a watch list for being a drunk. Police keep tabs on you anytime they see you. Not a 'safe' as it looks.Good luck citizen.
TuteTibiImperes: It would be neat to have a service where you could 'rent' a designated driver.

TuteTibiImperes: It would be neat to have a service where you could 'rent' a designated driver. The problem with taxis is that unless you take one to the bar in the first place, your car is now back at the bar when you're at home, and you have to get another cab ride to go back and pick it up, or get someone to drop you off.I propose a service where you call up a service that drops off a driver to drive you and your car back home again, and then picks that driver back up again at your house.I could see it being economical - after all, the service wouldn't need any vehicle of their own other than a few passenger vans to drop off and pick up the drivers from bar to house and back again.
