So, which one of you is buying me that for Christmas?

I hope it's bigger on the inside because my first thought was the loss of storage space above the fridge.

As, so Doctor Who is either a nice Jewish or Asian boy.

I thought about making this the front door of my house, when I eventually buy one. Would it be too much if every door in the house into a TARDIS door?

As a big fan of Doctor Who I have no problem what soever with it being written Dr.

marius2: So, which one of you is buying me that for Christmas?

Just as soon as I buy one for myself...

I think next summer I'm going to make myself a TARDIS cabinet, but this would be way cooler if impractical for apartment living.

Then why do they call him THE Doctor? Unless "The" is a prefix?

Type40: As a big fan of Doctor Who I have no problem what soever with it being written Dr.

That's how it was written in the credits of the show until, at least, Jon Pertwee's run. I don't know if they switched over to "Doctor Who" during his final year, or for Tom Baker's run. And they didn't list him as just "The Doctor" until either Baker 1's final season, or the Peter Davison era.

If I ever build myself a man cave, I'm going to replace the door with a Tardis. That way you walk into the Tardis and it's bigger on the inside.

I think it's the same as when you say The King, you don't just say King is here or it's for King. It's, The Doctor is here, or do it in the name of The Doctor.

Thats a neat idea. If you can have customized decals for your laptop and game controllers, why not the fridge too? Would work better on the older side-by-side models, though. Personally, I'd go for a decal making it look like a giant bank vault door

A TARDIS cabinet would be pretty cool as well. For right now I'm just gonna have to stick with my TARDIS keychain... it's bigger on the inside.

So no one is worried some preciouses child will want to play in the Tardis, go inside, and shut the door and asphixiate?

So where do you get the milk, then?

Lesbian lizard chick with a samurai sword, potato-headed comic relief, carnivorous snowmen. What's not to like about the Doctor Who Christmas special?

Damn moon.

Time Lord Titles:
The Doctor
The Master
The Rani
The Valeyard

Time Lord Names: (Or accepted contractions of the same)
Romana
Morbius
Rassilon
Borusa

It can be a fair assumption based on prior portrayals that "The Doctor" is a title assumed by the character at some point prior to his becoming a renegade Time Lord. However, it has not been
adequately established that "Doctor" could be part of a larger name, or that the word pronounced "doctor" may have different meaning in the Gallifreyan tongue than the general definition applied by other races. (Keep in mind that in "A Good Man goes to War" the word "doctor" was translated as warrior by a few races that The Doctor had previously encountered)

/For that matter "who" could be part of his name too, and not just a play on words.

Blame the jackass architect, not the fridge. I don't understand when people diverge from specific designs that are tried and true. Certain stuff should just be standard.

As for the fridge, someone did a REALLY good job.

99.6% of "poor" households have a refrigerator? Big deal. The fridge and stove come with the apartment. Usually the appliances are older than the renters.

The hardcore fan would make it where you could open the refrigerator by pushing the doors open.

I wish I had some appliances older than me. They actually built stuff to last back then. Now you are expected to buy everything every 5-6 years, and you'll LIKE it, consumer.

For what it's worth, in The Armageddon Factor, another Time Lord named Drax refers to the Doctor by the name "Theta Sigma".

Since we're talking about ordinary things being painted as the TARDIS, someone is going around Winter Park painting the electrical boxes on the street corners. The one on Old Winter Park Rd and Corrine, where the 7/11 is, was painted up as the TARDIS. Cool stuff.

2012-11-18 08:45:26 PM
But does it come with a K-9?

Mega Steve: For what it's worth, in The Armageddon Factor, another Time Lord named Drax refers to the Doctor by the name "Theta Sigma".

Yes, and there was an insane one named Omega who invented time travel or somesuch. Certainly a bit of Greek in there. And the Time Lord Lambda Lambda Lambda who travelled through space and time seeking out hair pie.
