Julio Jones?

I do have Ben, but I also have The Red Headed Stepchild going against the Chefs. And then there's the fact that I have Roddy. So I have two questions then:

TE: Myers vs. the Aints or Olsen vs. the Bucs?
Defense: Pack at Lions or Niners vs. the Bears? Heavily leaning towards Niners....

I'd go Olsen and Niners... I don't trust Carson Palmer (Bengal fan so take that for what it's worth) and Jason Campbell sucks.

I'm trying to decide if I should sit the aforementioned Julio Jones and start Tampa's Mike Williams instead

Add Aaron Hernandez to that list.

/dammit.

Yeah. My "he's not dead yet" joke was poorly executed. If he's out I have to choose between Andre Roberts and Josh Gordon. Going with Roberts I guess even though he is up against the Falcons. Hoping for a bunch of garbage time receptions isnt all bad. Hell, I'm more nervous if Jones plays- then he might get pulled in 2nd half if game gets out of hand. I don't have the spine to sit him if he plays.

I'm waiting on Jones, with either Smith (who I'm pissed at for last week) or Amendola as a possible sub. Their stats are projected to be nearly identical thanks to a few return yards - 11.72 for Smith, 11.69 for Amendola.

Picked up Nick Foles and Riley Cooper, mostly to have some motivation to watch the Eagles game.

Precious Roy's Horse Dividers: Picked up Nick Foles and Riley Cooper, mostly to have some motivation to watch the Eagles game.

Now, the Redskins couldn't cover a toddler at WR but the Eagles OL is a sieve so Foles will have maybe .5 seconds to get rid of the ball.

Just completed a last minute trade in one of my leagues and cant decide who to sit this week.

Pick three: Miles Austin (Vs Browns), Jordy Nelson (Vs Lions), Calvin Johnson (Vs Packers), or Andre Johnson (Vs Jags).

Yeah, not expecting too much, but I am in a ridiculously deep league, so I can take a flyer here and there for shiats and giggles. Foles is my 3rd QB and Cooper is like 7th WR.

Went trade wacky this week:
Traded: McFadden, Daniels, RG3 for Rodgers/F Jackson/Gostkowski
Traded: Leshoure/Richardson for Forte/Nelson

q: Rodgers/Luck
r: Forte/F Jackson/A Morris/Mendenhall
wr: AJ Green/Maclin/Nelson/Jennings/Garcon
TE: Graham/Davis
k; Gostkowski
D: Falcons

Not sure who to Flex though. Maclin or Mendenhall?

2012-11-18 11:05:56 AM
Managed to get AJ Green for Amendola this week. So excited.

That being said, Denarius Moore or Alfred Morris?

2012-11-18 11:16:12 AM
Josh Cribbs is listed as probable, but projected to get 0 points. Did I miss something?

2012-11-18 11:16:55 AM
Any word on Smith

2012-11-18 11:17:47 AM
That's a lot of Jake favorites on the sidelines at once. Looks like Romo is in the chute, 5 x 5.

Projections are retarded. Fred Jackson is IA and was projected for 16.2PTS

He plays for the Browns. That and he has 6 rec. for 54 yards and 3 fumbles. 0 may be generous.

QB: Cam Newton against the Bucs or Carson Palmer against the Saints?
Flex: Jamaal Charles against the Bengals, Chris Ivory against the Raiders, or Brandon Lloyd against the Colts? (I have Ray Rice and Doug Martin at RB, and Torrey Smith and Vincent Jackson at WR)

I'm leaning for Palmer at QB, and Charles at Flex.

2012-11-18 11:22:12 AM
Not only do I have Ben, but I have Alex Smith, MJD among other broken players.

2012-11-18 11:23:42 AM
all righty, Andre Roberts v Falcons, James Starks v Detroit, or Vick Ballard v NE at the flex?

I'd lean that way too.

Grote-Man: I'd go Olsen and Niners... I don't trust Carson Palmer (Bengal fan so take that for what it's worth) and Jason Campbell sucks.

Is Carson Palmer able to walk? Then he's guaranteed 400 against my guys.

He'll get three 80 yard passes and then three picks in the end zone, so, watch out.

Please tell me there are a lot more pieces then Amendola (Who I like a lot) for AJ Green (Who is arguably the best receiver in football this season.) Can't blame you but one for one that's highway robbery.

That said it's hard to sit Moore vs NO.

2012-11-18 11:27:22 AM

Bubblegum Tate: all righty, Andre Roberts v Falcons, James Starks v Detroit, or Vick Ballard v NE at the flex?

I like Roberts out of those three.

2012-11-18 11:28:09 AM
I have some tough decisions:

QB: Starting Luck but considering Schaub v. Jags. IND v NE will most likely be a shootout, while the Texans will probably run a lot v. Jags.

RB2: Sproles, Ivory, Felix Jones

W/R/T: Sproles, Ivory, Felix Jones, Julio Jones

The Jones' are 1pm kickoff games while the Saints' RBs are at 4.

I'll have more info once I find out if Julio and Sproles are indeed playing.

Felix Jones is a safe play vs Browns. It's Julio's "off" week I believe (so Roddy White will have a huge game), so even if Julio gets the go-ahead I don't think he'll have a monster game.

Ivory will probably get another hard-runnin', hard-shiattin', stiff-arm armin' 50yd+ TD run against the Raiders, while Sproles, with his busted hand, may see less dump passes since Brees' receiving core is lighting it up. The Saints will light up the board today.

Safe: Sproles and Felix
Mix: Felix and Ivory
Gamble: Ivory and Sproles

Definite starts:
WR1: R. Cobb
WR2: Hartline (sigh, what a bust that was)
RB1: Foster
TE: J. Graham
K: S. Graham
DEF: Packers

Opinions?

That's what I'm worried about. On the other hand, Cam is interception-prone too. His only saving grace is that he runs in TDs more often.

that's where I was leaning. He's been solid. Although Starks is tempting as GB's starting RB

You summed it up pretty well

Let's see: I have Bradshaw and Eli on the team that Cutler is (was) on; go go Leftwich/Skelton powers!

I find it amusing that closer to the end of the year, in a short bench league, you don't really have "decisions" to make- just holes to fill. My opponent and I are both starting players who are out, because we don't want to drop them, and already have our 2 bench spots full of byes.

Back in the real world, would anyone start Amendola over Cobb/Wayne/Welker today? I love the dude and I'm a total homer, but I can't afford to be sentimental at this point. And the matchup kinda sucks.

Nope, one for one straight up, except I also included a case of Molson's.

I added Green to a cast that already includes Harvin, Cobb, Foster, Martin, and Morris. My team has become the Death Star.

Redskins are 0-8 against rookie QBs in the last few years. I'm putting a sawbuck on the Eagles.

So, Jones will start. Now I just have to decide if I do start him.

OK you guys, help a girl out here..

I've got Torrey Smith (@PIT), Andre Roberts (@ATL), Calvin Johnson (GB) and James Jones (@DET) for WR. Pick 3.

At this moment I've got Smith sitting out...but I'm seriously contemplating switching him for Roberts.

I assume everyone else watching ESPN got the Beezid.com commercial. I give a ton of credit to the people who created that and the Quibids websites for finding a new and innovative way to bilk the living shiat out of an ignorant American public. Charging three hundred fifty bidders ten dollars per bid to make incremental $.01 bid increases on a product that cost $500 is genius.

Hmm, while road Flacco is bad Flacco, Smith is one of his top targets, Roberts get's targets but even bad Flacco may be better then what the Cards are rolling out there.
