Bama will probably be ranked 2nd and Georgia 3rd. Assuming both win their games vs Auburn and Georgia Tech respectively you're looking at the SEC Champion playing for the BCS Championship again this year.

ROLL TIDE!

Missed opportunity for Michigan vs. Notre Dame. They had 6 turnovers and lost by 7.

/still butthurt.

If you're butthurt about that, I can only imagine how you feel about the Appy game. Or how you'll feel after getting back to losing to OSU again.

\go Irish, avenge the Bush Push!

If you happen to make it past USC, you will get blown out by whatever SEC team you play. Book it.

tOsu would be in the title talk. Except their administration broke NCAA rules. Breaking rules makes them cheaters. Cheaters don't go to the post seaon based on the penalty. Therefore, fark tOsu, they don't get to say shiat because they are cheaters.

The oldes adage in football is that defense wins championships. Notre Dame has the best defense in the country. It's as simple as that.

There are many champions but only one king. And the king has returned. Go Irish!

So if ND loses to USC, does Oregon or KSU get put back into the hunt or does Florida get to play the Ga-Alabama winner for the title? Florida and Alabama didn't play each other this year...

No you see it automatically has to be the SEC teams because, you know, they're the best or something....

Roll cardinals, motherfarkers... Oregon's kicker is a hero in my book... RMFT stupid. See you in 2 weeks georgia

I am not sure why people are assuming UF will beat FSU next week. FSU is looking for respect in a real bad way.

Here's a fun scenario..

Georgia loses to Georgia Tech, then beats Alabama in the SEC title game...
Notre Dame loses to USC...
Oregon loses to Oregon State...

Goes to Oregon, most likely. Because you can't jump someone in the polls unless they lose. Or some other such BS.

/Playoff now!

ND Alabama. Seems straight forward.

Two loss non-conference winner (Alabama) over one-loss conference winner (KSU)?

Well FL still has to play FSU, so it is not a certainty that they will finish with just 1 loss

Christ, my worst nightmare might come true. I despise both the SEC and Notre Dame...but I have to pick one team.

Yes, because it's Alabama. If it were anyone else, KSU gets it, but Bama gets an extra bump for their brand recognition.

Yeah, the argument goes, "the top SEC teams have only lost to in-conference opponents. . ." Florida State, Clemson, Kansas State and Oregon can all make the same claim. The only real difference we can be sure of between Oregon and Alabama is that Oregon lost its first game later in the season; Texas A&M and Stanford look comparably competitive. And hell, just look at what most of the top SEC teams scheduled this week. Jacksonville State managed to make Florida's offense look bad, and LSU barely beat Ole Miss.

Partly because the top teams went out of their way to avoid playing each other, I'm actually enjoying the BCS fail more than the games. I don't really have anything against Oregon or K-State but their losses shred the BCS' integrity all over again (tho the voters will probably put Alabama back to #2). I'm also thoroughly enjoying the butthurt from ND haters still stuck in 1990.

A two-loss SEC team is still better than anything the other conferences can produce. Just tOSU.

Wasn't trying to disrespect FSU. I'm just trying to get a gauge on how the BCS would react to the nightmare "18 one-loss teams" scenario

On behalf of Alabama I'll gladly accept all good vibes.
