Laugh all you like, but this is such a stupid suggestion it just may work.

Today I learned that Rich Lowry has a female nom-de-plume.

The Tea Party seems to have moved on to candidates who talk about rape constantly.

Wow. A Palinite who can actually hold down a job?

This woman needs to be captured, tagged and studied.

As a Democrat, this idea terrifies me. There's no way we could field a candidate of Palin's intellect and popularity in 2016.

2012-11-17 03:50:44 PM
Go for it, Repubs. No really, please go for it.

2012-11-17 03:53:27 PM
A Palin/Bachmann ticket would set a new record for lowest voter turnout on both sides. Nobody could take such an election seriously!

I'm okay with this. Her rabid disdain for the "liberal media" will prevent her from sharing any of her plans or ideas with the voting public and therefore she'll suffer the same fate as Mitt Romney.

2012-11-17 04:13:27 PM
Would Jerry Springer be available to moderate the debates?

FTA: Sarah Palin is the new Ronald Reagan: charming and affable and unwilling to back down if she's right. I can't see what's wrong with that.

I just peed myself a little while laughing.

Frankly I would enjoy another 4 years of Democracts in the white house. I hope they go with this.. it would be lovely.

I'm honestly starting to believe that conservative pundits are actually moderate Democrats who have been running a false flag operation since 2004.

Holy crap, LA Times became the Onion when I wasnt looking ?

2012-11-17 04:17:54 PM
Well... She's got four years to learn... something...

Anyway, as a democrat, I too am terrified of this strong, conservative woman. There's no way we can win. She will crush us. Please, Republicans! I'm begging you to be merciful and not run Palin in 2016.

So... this ISN'T an article from The Onion?

A national exit poll conducted by CNN asked voters whether Palin was a factor in their voting. Of those who said yes, 56% voted for McCain versus 43% for Barack Obama.

At first I thought that was just a hugely misleading statistic, but I looked it up and 60% of 2008 voters said that Palin was a factor in their voting. If that 56% number is true, then 33.6% of all votes were basically voting for Palin. That is kind of scary, actually

Fixed it for them.

Is Sarah Palin the new Ronald Reagan?

In the sense that Reagan was also a grifter who used populist rhetoric to sway low-info voters?

Perhaps but she's like a low level carnie grifter type while Reagan was more like the Billie Mays of fake populist BS.

TL,DR?

Worst possible solution if you are a Republican.

Best Evar if you are a Democrat.

Didn't it take her about 8 years to do her undergrad? (And she didn't seem to learn much)

Sarah Palin is the new Ronald Reagan: charming and affable and unwilling to back down if she's right.

Also, and greatly more frequently, unwilling to back down when she's wrong.

Do it! Do it! Do the deed! Liz Warren will run on the Dem ticket, and, unlike Biden, she can eviscerate Palin during the debates without looking like a bully.

FTFA Title: She's hot. She's blue-collar. She's electable.

She is none of those things. She is one of the ugliest humans I have ever seen. She has become filthy rich by doing and saying stupid shiat in an attention whore manner. She lost the Presidency pretty much by herself.

This op-ed is Poe's Law in action. Mocking? Satire? Dead serious? Who knows?

To get her to Palin's intellectual level, we'd have to shoot the poor woman in the head again. that would be cruel.

nothing says "hot" to me like a 50 year old cellulite-ridden clown car with a Robert Z'Dar-esque lantern jaw.

getting all hot and bothered just thinking about it.

good thing she has her startling intellect and charming personality to fall back on.
