I can't believe how amazing it is!!!

A little backstory: years ago, I purchased a print from an antique store in Chicago and it was my favorite in our collection. We recently moved and despite careful packing, the glass was smashed and it tore up the delicate paper. I took pictures before we had to throw it away.

After seeing how EvilLincoln's style was similar to the print's, I asked him to reproduce it. It's better than the print, and I love it so much.

Much gratitude (and some bucks soon).

I'm so glad you like it! I apologize again for not getting the finalized version up until now, it's been a busy few weeks.

I also wanted you to know your painting will have a sister piece as well!

I used the same color scheme for this painting of the mayan riviera I'm making for my wife right now. The pic up there is approximately 50% complete.

Thank all of you for your kind words.

Not yet. I'm taking an online html class and will start building one in the second quarter of 2013, if I know what i'm doing by then.

Also, farker averageamericanguy was the one who identified the original artist, Guy Georget and deserves a shout out for finding it.

I'd had told ytterbium on email that it really reminded me of an old travel, and it turns out it was.

Man I dig the colors. Rather calming. I'm going to have to look for a place to hang one and will get to you. :-)

No, seriously, I'd love to buy a t-shirt of this, EL. Can we make that happen?

Disruptive point of interest. It is overbearing and alien.

Choose something more minimalistic that blends or nothing at all.

I know how you feel dude. But the original dude put the bars on and because i'm a big traditionalist I followed right along.

Ya, I got that vibe from ytterbium's comment.

I would buy a print, but I just can't get my eyes off those damn bars.

Otherwise, good work.

And looks like: The Fark squirrel porking a turtle doing a parrot getting blown by a horse schlepping a rabbit humping a camel who's going to bite the dolphin jumping onto the rat riding a flamingo getting blown by another squirrel. Dude, you may want to seek professional help....

//jk. good talent.
