They are super fond of those ugly things.

That was quick.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark

Steve Bould is a defensive genius. Say it often enough, and it will become true

2012-11-17 07:58:18 AM
What kills me, though, is how easy that looked for Sp*rs

2012-11-17 07:58:39 AM
Who would of thought two strikers would be so effective?

2012-11-17 08:03:21 AM
Has to be red

2012-11-17 08:04:04 AM
Haha, you clumsy, lank dipshiat

2012-11-17 08:04:23 AM
Damn, straight red. What was Adebayor thinking going in that high?

2012-11-17 08:04:36 AM
The handbags are out after that "tackle".

That was nasty. You can't slide in with a foot that hight, even if its ball hight.

Why would that remind you? I didn't say anything about anyone taking his top off. (Giroud, if you're wondering. Although it's slim pickings in this game).

She was in the Chelsea thread during the week. She doesn't post nearly enough.

Spurs/Arsenal, and I've got to drive this morning.

fark.

Haha. For some reason I thought the unnecessary away kit thing was her deal as well

Mertesacker! Nice header!

2012-11-17 08:10:35 AM
That was beautiful. Good possession by Walcott, getting away from his defender and then a lovely cross, great finish by the Big F*cking German

2012-11-17 08:12:12 AM
I have such a crush on Walcott, I ain't even mad.

2012-11-17 08:12:32 AM
Ugh. Arsenal sloppy with the ball in the backfield

2012-11-17 08:14:35 AM
Still, 6:45 is far too early to wake up to watch Wenger pass kidney stones on the side.

I think she thinks *all* kits are unnecessary.

I missed the second goal because my laptop switched itself off. CSB.

Meanwhile, in League Two:

Also, Chesterfield Town, you are going to lose to the MIGHTY Oxford United today.

Ohhhh Podolski

2012-11-17 08:27:49 AM
No jacking the flag, podolski

2012-11-17 08:27:57 AM
POLDIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

2012-11-17 08:27:59 AM
And Podolski pulls the Gunners in front.

2012-11-17 08:28:33 AM
As a keeper nothing makes your balls shrivel quite like turning around to watch the ball roll into the net. Cripes, lucky shank, but it'll do.

2-1 Arsenal.

2012-11-17 08:30:08 AM
Who is Sol supporting? Whoever's winning?

2012-11-17 08:30:38 AM
Flying home for the break, but able to watch the first half. Turn it on just as Ade is being sent off, sigh. Now Arsenal gets some luck and goes up 1 before the half. Not exactly the way I wanted to watch. Also I want to say that Friedel should always be starting instead of Lloris, pretty sad that Lloris continues to start.

At least tomorrow I will be at the DC United/Houston Eastern Conference second leg in DC. DC is down 3-1 right now due to bad injuries and horrible officiating. Hoping at least they can make a game of it.

Also I forgot to set my scores so I just did that. Only missed the Arsenal/Spurs match so not too bad.

Beautiful

2012-11-17 08:32:14 AM
Nice run from Cazorla, good finish from Giroud.

2012-11-17 08:32:56 AM
God damn I love Cazorla. He's just incredible when he's switched on and had a little bit of space

2012-11-17 08:33:32 AM
Gotta be nice having an entire stadium of fans singing a Beatles song for you.

2012-11-17 08:33:33 AM
Gallas and Lloris shouldn't be starting. Neither should Thudd.

I'm sure Spurs fans prefer the sheen off the head of Brad Friedel at this point...hell, Gomes would probably be more welcome right now...

Missed the last two weeks of threads because I was working both weekend days, but still got my picks in and was pleased to see them do rather well. Now this? Come on, Arsenal, can't even have the decency to beat Spurs by the margin I picked (put my insurance on this one, in any event).

Awesome. He mentioned all the people I already support regardless of team. Berba and Jose are just a joy/hilarious (respectively) to follow. Thanks for that.

That was goddamn picturesque.

2012-11-17 09:04:11 AM
Beautifully done by Podolski.

He has been awesome for you guys this year. With Giroud settling in and Wilshere getting fit, things are looking up for you. Podolski has been solid as well. Good signings all around.

Agreed. And actually, when Diaby was starting he was really changing the complexion of the attack. When he got hurt again (of course), it changed how Arsenal moved. Hopefully, Wilshere will shake off the rust and have that forward attacking momentum that Arsenal needs to operate effectively. And I don't know what happened to Vermaelen's focus, but he definitely hasn't been at his best, and it shows.
