Wow - I never heard that song before. Who is that guy?

Where is New Jersey?

It sounds awesome. Is their turnpike called Thunder Road? Why is it free to drive into NJ, but you have to pay a toll to leave?

What exactly is he the boss of? And is it true that he ordered a hit on Clarence Clemons?

Why does the boss hate black people?

Bringing together the very greatest musicians on Earth to play some of the worst crap ever.

Welcome to 1978. In 1974 the '60's music was on an oldies station and the rest of the world had long since moved on.

The Future of rock and roll... And Bruce Springsteen's farking it all up.

Yeah. I saw him do this version way-back-when.

I didn't believe the intro then and I don't believe it now.

This guy has gotten disgustingly rich from America and all he does is sing about how America sucks.

And I'm sick of his fake accent - what is it? Appalachian? Okie? Missourian?
Whatever it is it isn't New Jersey-ian.

Not even close to being a Springsteen fan, but Thunder Road is IMO the single greatest American song. Good version. Thanks subby.

the just piano and vocals and harmonica version on "hammersmith 75" is wonderful.

I much prefer most of the live versions of the "born to run" album's songs to the actual studio album itself.
the studio album's production seems rather flat and unexciting (except for the title song, perhaps because it had a different producer).

Not bad, Subs. I like the current Boss. His voice sounds more like it's lived through the hardship it sings about.

Nothing like paying $150.00 for tickets to get preached to about politics. Worst concert ever. Wouldn't even allow beer sales. Love his music but no more money for the boss.

I guess you could have gone to his "free" concert back in 2008 if you were a registered democrat or signed up and registered democrat.
