I'm impressed with the guy towards the bottom of the password list who thought up a clever little trick to strengthen that doubling those digits up. Instead of 123456, he's using 112233.

YDE181, you are a Genius.

Meh, still more secure than South Carolina's Department of Revenue (the state version of the IRS).
Somebody from a foreign country managed to social engineer a username and password out of one of their employees, then went on to steal copies of peoples tax returns.

Everybodies tax returns. Personal, business, the ones where somebody put their bank account number for direct deposit of the refund - all of them.
From now all the way back to 1998.

/Ever paid taxes in SC in the last 14 years? Congratulations, some dickhead in Russia now has your name, SSN, and DOB.

2 Zero Hedge links in 2 days? Good Lord, keep the bat-shiat crazy in the Politics tab where it belongs.

Zero Hedge has even less than zero credibility. It's just some idiot with a "finance" blog who probably can't even calculate change in his head. The only places reporting this "hack" are other blog sites and the reference to the ZDF documentary only appears on radical right-wing blog sites. One of the top results for it is some website dedicated to impeaching Obama. Nothing has been posted to Twitter from @OpGreece in almost two weeks.

Sounds legit.
