I'm guessing no. Does no work for you, about-to-be confessed felon?

For those of who don't want to sit through a five minute hard-hitting news piece, let me summarize it for you:

* Jesse Jackson Jr.'s wife may be in the house behind this reporter, but we're not sure because nobody answers the door when we knock.

* Jesse Jackson Jr. may have ridden in a car with his father sometime in the last week.

* Jesse Jackson Jr. may have bought an expensive watch, or possibly had a mistress? We're not entirely sure. But we did find a jeweler who let us film an expensive watch in a display case.

* Jesse Jackson Jr. may have listed his campaign headquarters as his home's basement during his initial election campaign more than ten years ago, which may have violated some rules. But we don't think he's being investigated for that. Or is he? We really don't have any idea.

* Jesse Jackson Jr. may have spent most of the last six months in a hospital with crippling, possibly permanent psychological and physical illnesses, and may be resigning from his job soon. It stands to reason that he may try to cash in his disability insurance policy, based on the fact that he's probably totally disabled and may never work again. Or maybe not. But without any hard evidence either way, our producers have told us to say that "unnamed sources say it is possible", to avoid the possibility of lawsuits.

* Jesse Jackson Jr. has a hot wife.

I prefer to call it the Reagan Phone, or even better the Bush Phone, since you know, they were the ones who created it and expanded on that piece of "welfare." But what do I know, I'm just a young whipper-snapper who goes to college.

Jessie?

I can't believe someone from the illustrious Jackson family is embroiled in controversy. What is this going to do to the brand?

People in the hood call it an Obama phone, perception is the name of the game.

That's politics in a nutshell. You either blame or give credit to the sitting president for a given thing based on if you like him or not.

I feel sorry for the guy. What you do in the manic phase of bipolar disorder usually farks up your entire life, and most people will never understand why.

I guess being under investigation by the Feds can cause disabling stress.

I'm sure he will find his way back into politics just like Marion Barry.

I'm a little surprised that Rep. Jackson has any leverage, when the House can simply expel him.

Based on the Kennedys and the Bushes, nothing. In America, political dynasties seem to be bulletproof, no matter how bad somebody screws up. Let 3000 Americans get killed in a terrorist attack, start a war with the wrong country based on lies, and plunge the nation into penury? No prob - your brother/nephew can run for Pres. in a few years!

So he's mentally fit to be a congressman, but not mentally fit enough to be in the private sector. Pretty much sums up why our government is so farked up.

I imagine they haven't so far because he is the son of Jesse Jackson. You can hear the racism cries already. Here's hoping they do soon anyways.

From a different article - A number of those who've seen and spoken with Jackson tell CBS News that he's not even close to being ready for such questioning,

Well that's convenient.

Jackson Jr. was re-elected to his tenth term but last month, sources say, he applied for a disability package--what could be his only income if he resigns. It is expected to take a couple of weeks for Congress to approve or deny the request.

Yeah deny that shiat. You don't get benefits for being a corrupt douchebag.

If you want to read the best stuff on JJ Jr, check out John Kass' columns in the Chicago Tribune.

Love how he refers to Sr. as "The King of Beers" and Jr. as "Congressman Bud Light", in honor of how these worthless race hucksters "secured" the Budweiser distributorship for the North Side (via blackmail, of course).

Damn that whole family to hell.

It doesn't work that way...he's from Illinois. You're either set for life, or you get tossed to the wolves to appease the masses when the corruption talk gets too wild. Cut off a limb to save the body, etc.

If "bi-polar disorder" and alcoholism qualifies you for disabilty, most of Fark would already be livin' for the mailbox.

Indeed, which is different than not getting benefits because he is a corrupt douchebag, because he had a chance to be a corrupt douchebag and still get those benefits.

So he's saying that being a congressman made him go bipolar?
Sweet.
That explains quite a bit about the general profession and the people who practice it.

/Much of congress is mentally ill, just with no formal diagnosis.

Illinois will toss him to the wolves like Blago if it doesn't get swept up soon. If not, he'll go peacefully and get the benefits. It could go either way.

//life long citizen of IL

do you know who PAYS for those 'Obama' phones? do you have a cell phone? you pay for it. check your bill for the "Universal Service" line item.

http://www.fcc.gov/guides/lifeline-and-link-affordable-telephone-serv i ce-income-eligible-consumers

"Some consumers may notice a "Universal Service" line item on their telephone bills. This line item appears when a company chooses to recover its USF contributions directly from its customers by billing them this charge. The FCC does not require this charge to be passed on to customers. Each company makes a business decision about whether and how to assess charges to recover its Universal Service costs."

i'm SICK of people calling it an "Obama Phone" when it's not even payed for by the government nor was it instituted by the current administration.

Farking Idiots.
