HotIgneous Intruder: I'm sure all these workers were more than happy to exchange their crappy low-paid jobs for no jobs right before Christmas. They had to teach The Company a lesson, right?/Hint: The Company doesn't love you. Never did, never will.
kkinnison: Here is the joke. During the most recent reccession the mantra of business trying to cut costs has been "If you don't like it, go get a job somewhere else" But now if they are basically quitting and you cannot hire anyone, the solution is to shut down the business and blame the protesting workers trying to get more pay.Ya know... if you paid the workers more, raised the cost of the product, you wouldn't need to shut down. But then again, i bet the sales people have made such sweetheart contracts with business for their product that they cannot raise their prices
ghare: bim1154: Happy Holidays union asshats. You cut your own farking throats on this one.Oh yeah, it's the UNIONS fault, not incompetent management. Cut the workers' pay so they might as well strike, so they strike. Yeah. They should have taken more concessions and worked for less than they can get elsewhere so the management can keep their money. Yeah.
lenfromak: BravadoGT: "Hostess Brands will move promptly to lay off most of its 18,500-member workforce and focus on selling its assets to the highest bidders."Yay Unions!Let the union buy the assets then.
