We're told Generals are allowed to invite civilian guests on board the plane and that no violation of rules occurred.

We all win? The entertainment value of this cluster-fark is far outweighed by the magnitudes of
1) distraction from important issues,
2) damage to the credibility of our agencies
3) damage to our national integrity.
