Why does the MSM keep bringing this up when we have a fiscal cliff which will usher in the apocalypse and turn all english speaking white people into dark skinned spanish speaking mexicans?

He's rich and white, so he's absolved from those sins.

But he apologized for it so it's all in the past. On the same note, the Democrat party can never be trusted because Bill Clinton got a blow job 20 years ago.

Like the damage this will do to his next re-election campaign?

Wow, this sucks. But lets be honest, it's a total outlier, unlikely to be seen again in our lifetimes, so lets just ignore it and pretend it never happened ok?

Republicans can do whatever they want because they've already been saved and are going to heaven whether you Liberal sinners like it or not.

he's absolutely the only hypocrite politician on either side, so rejoice, citizens.

He'll just blame it all on "Satan's temptation" and his target demographic will accept that because it gives them the same "out".

I am beginning to understand why these people operate under the illusion that the typical American woman undergoes five or six abortions in a life time.

Dear Extremists,
It is not the typical American woman who undergoes five or six abortions in a lifetime. Moderate Republican women, Democratic women, Green Party Women, and so on; none of them personally undergo a slew of abortions. It is only your women who are doing this sort of thing.
Sincerely,
The Rest of Us

Oh Look! A moralistic, fmaily values pushing, anti-gay, pro-life douchebag republican does everything he's constantly railing against.
Live your life according to my rules. But remember, they don't apply to me.

Farking asshole. Die.

Silly me, I should have thrown pro-choice women into that list of women who don't have repeated abortions. I suspect pro-choice women likely have the fewest abortions as a group because they are best informed about the risks of sexual intimacy and their birth control options. They are, therefore, less likely to end up surprise pregnant.

Of course.

It's the golden rule of being a Republican. Whatever they accuse everyone else of is something that they are doing:

manipulating elections
skewing polls
defrauding welfare

The reason they think the world is an evil place full of morally bankrupt shiftless hucksters is they think it's populated by people like them.

2012-11-16 09:28:30 AM
This is one issue I have with anti-abortion people. I tell them that rich people will be able to get abortions because they will go to Europe, Canada or wherever it is legal. Now, if they really want to make it illegal, they'll do it like they do people that go to foreign countries to have sex with minors and prosecute them.. Of course that won't happen because people with money live by different rules than poor people do.

Remember its only his wife that got an abortion because the fetus had a horrible condition that would result in a nonviable pregnancy (*cough*ectopic pregnancy*cough*). It was only his wife that had an awful medical condition where if she didn't abort her life would be in danger. Only her doctor said it had to be done after careful thought and preparation. Only her abortion was going to be long, painful and traumatic. Everyone else's abortion is totally immoral and because she was a filthy, filthy, slut.

2012-11-16 09:34:27 AM
Republicans understand that rulers don't need the morals that the poor need, because they're leaders and not poor. Poor people have to be given stricter codes of conduct, because they're weak and stupid and need them, otherwise they wouldn't be poor. Both poor Republicans and rich Republicans understand this.

Could be that he was "born again" after these incidents. If that's the case I applaud him for at least trying to be a better person. Still no excuse for having a shiatty platform, though. It's like a former alcoholic pushing for prohibition.

/dude could have unimpeachable character, he'd still be a festering coont for espousing such idiotic policies.

I know that some individual Republicans have taken the "no exceptions" stance, claiming that situations like that do not exist, but what did this year's party platform say? Did it make exceptions for the life of the mother?

2012-11-16 09:38:56 AM
Well duh...Rules and Moral codes only apply to the poor. Real Repubs are rich and therefor exempt from living by what they claim to believe.

He's my Congressman. I voted against him, but knew he would win because there's an "R" next to his name.

One thing is for sure though, he will be primaried next time, and we will have a new Congessman in 2 years.
