Actually, he's always talked about how much of a joke that Radio Hall Of Fame is because well.....it is. It's like at some dudes house or something.

As far as the snark about Howard, I still love listening to the guy. He still is the best interviewer out there, and when he's talking about real issues I think he's spot on most of the time.

It's not all about tits and ass and saying fark over and over again like everyone makes the show out to be.

These Howard threads all start off the same...

"Howard still has a show?"

"I used to listen to him, but the show's not as good as it was..."

Blah blah blah. The show has been amazing lately. No one sounds "bored" to be there. Granted all good things must come to an end. But the show still has life and Howard's interviewing skills are among the best.

This. What made Stern brilliant was the whole idea that he was pushing the envelope on terrestrial radio. On Sirius, he just sounds like any other dirty old man. Saying fark a bunch of times on satellite is meaningless.

It was like that time they tried to revive The Match Game, except by that point broadcast standards allowed to say dick, fart, and tits, so it wasn't funny anymore.
