The Gaza Strip is small enough that Israel could level that place in a few hours if they wanted too. I don't know why they just don't and get it over with already.

It looks like Israel's strategy of disarming Hamas militants - by taking 12 or so rockets a day - is not going quickly enough.

Can we just reclassify the Gaza strip as a volcano already?

well it's smaller than metro philadelphia that houses 1.4 million people, if they just went all carpet bombing who knows what would happen (somebody would try to nuke Israel)... the fact that Israel's precision bombing leads to stuff like 15 people dying is probably as low of a casaulty rate as you can get with Gaza

... and make sure the blast is big enough to encompass both countries.

The world is sick of this crap.

Thanks for the ridiculous headline which ensures no one will click into the thread. Biggest escalation in the last four years and you write the most crap headline I have ever seen in my entire life. I guess we'll wait until later in the day when someone else green-lights a better headline. This thread should have 200+ already.

They would turn the place into a gravel pit that's what would happen. And no one would be dumb enough (I would hope) to try and nuke Israel. That would only serve to assure their own annihilation from Israel in return.

i'm sure somebody is insane enough to try it tho, via conventional or unconventional means, especially if they work the numbers in their head and thought "hey, we might lose 10 million people but if Israel is gone forever then it's worth it!"

the point is, it's smart of Israel to go with precision strikes, the more Israel is greedy (stupid) with their response, the more others are greedy (stupid) with their responses
