Actual efficacy has no effect on demand within the Chinese aphrodisiac market; it's all about symbolism. Although I guess they could always market it along the lines of "when the apocalypse comes and 99% of life on earth has been wiped out, your erection will be alive and well." Sell them in packages of eight and you might have something.

I'd rather have glowing cockroaches than the non-glowing kind we have today. At least the glowing ones would look cooler.
