RedPhoenix122: Headline: "NerdWallet Study: 90% of 2012 Black Friday Ads Contain Exact Same Items and Prices as 2011′s"FTFA: "In a NerdWallet analysis of 22 Black Friday ad scans, 20 listed at least one product at the same exact price in 2012 as in the retailer's 2011 Black Friday ad."Talk about misleading.
BoxOfBees: Story is a non-story. Real story is the sub-story that median prices of BF sale items have gone up significantly. In other words, the Rs and Ds in our dumbass gubmint have quantitatively eased the cash out of your hands. Assuming you're stupid enough to buy overpriced crap you don't need.
bunner: Are you tying to tell me that you can't actually make everything cheaper, every year in the face of inflation and *still* get quality products? What are you, some kind of commie?
HotWingConspiracy: I don't know what it is about some people, but if they see a line, they're getting in it.
ManRay: Retailers have been repackaging the same crap and calling it a "deal" hoping nobody will notice for a long time now. Every year I think "this is it, people are seeing through it this time". Yet there are still lines of people at 4am in front of the WalMart.

We will soon be around the corner - I see the line moving up ahead. Here, take my last sip of spastgralnyik, it will keep you warm until we reach the front entrance.///I cannot take it Yuri. It was your prize for harvesting the most beets in one month. Do not ask me to take it from you.////Darling Natalya! I love you!//Natasha.//Natasha, sorry.//A one act, six slashy Russian play by bill4935.//For performance rights, contact the William Morris Agency.
Mad_Radhu: I think Target is opening at 9 PM this Black Friday, which means that it is actually pretty easy for me to be lazy like I was last year and cruise over about an hour after the sale starts so I don't have to stand in line in the cold and rain and I don't have to deal with the initial stampede. Last year, I cruised in about 1 AM after they opened at midnight, and was able to find exactly what I wanted off of the sale flyer. Hell, most of it was strewn all through the store because you had people rushing to grab Blu-Ray players and Kintects, then they would have pre-buyer's remorse while waiting in the checkout line that snaked all through the store and then just drop the items in random spots. If you took a tour of the quieter parts of the store, you'd find everything you want just laying there abandoned. They way I figure it, if I can find a good deal it is awesome, but if I don't I'm not going to cry about it.I'll also probably swing by Staples on Friday afternoon after the crowds die down because I have $160 in Staples Rewards burning a hole in my pocket, thanks to a big print job I sent them for a work project. Other than that and Target, I'm probably going to spend the rest of Black Friday relaxing at home and trolling the Amazon hourly deals.
MythDragon: On the IMDB page for your play, under the 'goofs' section, it says "Midway through the story, Natasha's name inexplicably changes to Natalya, and then changes back to Natasha."
TiMthisIS: Last year? Laptops have seemed to bottomed out in price. I didn't Black Friday mine but I bought a basic laptop for $299 3 years ago. They still offer the same laptop for $329 with the same specs. Sometimes they have a tad more memory. Maybe on Black Friday sale they'll hit $279 but they don't seem to be changing much in specs or price.
NewportBarGuy: Am I the only person who uses the Google shopping option to find the lowest price?
Swoop1809: I might swing by Staples and grab a 2TB external drive for 70 bucks. All I'm really looking for are deals on storage
mcreadyblue: Since Google started charging retailers to be included in the results, it's rarely returnsthe cheapest.
