Leeds: Let me get this straight--There is a device called a "Nexus 4" that has a 4.7" screen-There is a device called the "Nexus 7" and it has a 7.0" screen-There is a device called the "Nexus 10" and it has a 10.39" screenAnd yet you claim that you are baffled by the numbering system.
MrEricSir: spawn73: MrEricSir: spawn73: MrEricSir: I'm really, really lost with Google's numbering system. How is it that the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 came out at the same time?Do you have to be extremely intoxicated to work for Google's marketing department? They didn't, the Nexus 10 and 4 came out at the same time. And no, you're not very bright. So Google can't get their product numbering straight -- and it's my fault?Good thinking, smart guy. You're the only one who can't figure it out.I have no interest in jumping through arbitrary marketing hoops. If I have to check Wikipedia to figure out what a device is -- let alone which of two is newer -- then the marketing department has failed.Even Microsoft gave up on this sort of nonsense and went back to contiguous numbering. It's almost like people want to know what they're buying.
