Won't work. All the mini-Texases (Texaii?) would constantly be figthing amongst themselves over the crucial issue of who gets custody of the giant belt buckles.
How about we skip secession and just go straight to Snow Crash and let everyone individually decide their citizenship regardless of geographical location?
