NutWrench: When she called police about news crews camped out in front of her waterfront mansion, she described herself as an "honorary consul general" and asked for "diplomatic protection."

No. Not yours.

"Sure ma'am, we'll give you honorary protection. It's like real protection, but fake."

qorkfiend: Wouldn't she, as the property owner, be fully within her rights to tell the media to get off her lawn, and to call the police to enforce that?

The diplomatic part is absurd, of course, but that'll sort itself out.

She's not NEARLY old enough for that.

"There is a childish innocence about Jill in some ways that borders on prejudicial naïveté," Phillips said.

What a nice way to say that she's an immature little idiot.

She got some honorary title that let her get diplomatic plates on her car so she thinks she can get protection? Ha!

AirForceVet: During an interview today on CNN, a retired general mentioned generals have to deal with "camp followers," describing these wome tied up in this scandal as such.

According to Wikipedia, camp followers are "civilians and their children who follow armies. There are two common types of camp followers; first, the wives and children of soldiers, who follow their spouse or parent's army from place to place; the second type of camp followers have historically been informal army service providers, servicing soldiers needs whilst encamped, in particular selling goods or services that the military does not supply, these have included cooking, laundering, liquor, nursing, sexual services and sutlery."

I say these women are the latter type, but I'm not sure what "services" they're both offering.

/Just kidding, yes, I do.

Isn't that where the term hooker came from? As in the women that followed General Hooker's men around?

The conspiracy is obvious.

None of the government workers, from FBI, State, and DOD were shirtless.

Apparently only shirtless FBI workers, and bare chested government and military functionaries bow to this immune and internationally diplomatic Korean consul special person.

Was Eric Cantor wearing a shirt when he called the head of the FBI? The longer this story linger, the more unlikely.

"She did have base access but does not currently because of her involvement in an ongoing investigation," a military official told the Tribune.

She had a sticker on the windshield of her car.
