At his level, even his work patterns (i.e. when he too busy to send E-mails or not) is probably borderline classified information.

Make me think of when just knowing when a ship was docked or setting sail was enough information to cause the deaths of soldiers.

Benghazzi right? That was the big one right. Fox told you so and you believe it even though you can't personally explain why it is such a big deal.

How Obama didn't call it an act of terror and personally stopped Navy Seals from rescuing them even though they were only a few minutes away. He wanted to keep Americans in the dark that he is really a secrut Muslim or something.

It's not the having sex that Americans are upset with. It's the fact that they were having sex with women they weren't married to. Now that they've been caught, they can retire or quit again, wait a few years for this to blow over, and then have longstanding careers as part of the GOP.

Your statement isn't accurate: Petraeus admitted to getting busy. Allen has denied any wrong doing.

Petraeus is probably in the clear unless information comes out that he was getting busy before he went to the CIA.

Allen, if he did have an affair, is looking at a possible prison sentence.

Adultery in the military is actually prosecuted under Article 134, of the UCMJ which is also known as the "General Article." Article 134 simply prohibits conduct which is of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, or conduct which is prejudicial to good order and discipline.

This whole pacific region military strategy is a real distraction from the real issue. The timing of this annual summit is really suspicious. Sure it was scheduled for about a year now but why does Hillary have to attend? Why can't they send someone else from their pool of diplomats. Who did they have at this summit last year? Some 3 year intern named Barrack Obama. Now they are sending the Secretary of State? All so she can't testify in the trial over those murders in Libya for which her and the President already took responsibility for.

This really is the last coffin in their banana.

Yes it was terrible that Eric Cantor withheld that vital information.

Now you are just being obtuse.

We get it, you don't think this is a big deal. Let's see how it plays out, shall we?

If it's such a big deal, why did Cantor sit on the information? Why did he help cover up this massive scandal that has you so very, very concerned?

spif: I'll wait until the news conference today since he hasn't publicly said anything about this situation yet.

I bet you he doesn't even have the courage to mention how he cut funding for the Benghazzi security detachment to buy a Chevrolet Volt for the Vienna Embassy? Car's don't work there Barry.

it's because "he didn't know" , "nobody told him". therefore, he was caught in an unexpected situation, kind of like a deer might feel with a car coming right at him. with the headlights on i should add.

At least the birfer conspiracy stuff makes sense. Secrut Muslin pretends to be born in Hawaii to become President and convert it to a marxist dictatorship. I get it. Proven wrong a million ways and farking stupid, but I get it.

What is the heart of the Benghazzi conspiracy that makes it so wrong and evil? I don't understand it.

Did he have the diplomats killed?
Did he try and pretend that they died in some type of office mishap to protect Libyan authorities?
Did he let them die to appease the terrorists?

or did they die because of someone's incompetence?
but we really shouldn't be asking those sort of questions, right?

You sound concerned for the security of US Diplomats. Has this been a lifelong issue for you? There will be a Congressional Inquiry into this event you will be relieved to know. Were you very upset when there wasn't a single inquiry of the 5 diplomats that died under Bush Jr.?

Very, very concerned = me amused at how deep this rabbit hole (lol) is becoming and how certain people want it to just go away.

You seem concerned about your perceived concern by others; care to elaborate?

The rabbit hole is very deep indeed. Terrorists kill US diplomats because of riot/video. Well just because they are terrorists actually. Barely room for the farking rabbit.

Leave the rabbit alone and keep farking that chicken.

keep farking that straw man, kids.

spif: keep farking that straw man, kids.

I don't construct strawmen on Benghazzi because I need them to win an argument. I do it because I have no farking clue what the real issue is. Poor security, Obama not caring about the deaths, cover-up of something, poorly handled communication? I guess a combination of these and the link to the sex scandal to boot? The media's complicity in not helping the GOP make this a bigger scandal? What is it?

Colon_pow is concerned about incompetence of Libyan security operations leading to the murder of diplomats. Presumably because the GOP is the standard bearer for protecting government officials.

Is that it? Tell me what the precise issue (or even the complex hybrid of issues) and I will promise not to use a strawman on the Benghazzi issue again.

Since the investigation into Petraeus began last summer, months before Benghazi, and since we know that the shirtless FBI agent was anti-Obama and seemingly on a fishing mission for an October Surprise, could the investigation (that Cantor was informed about even before the President) have caused the Benghazi incident because the CIA and the FBI were in-fighting? Should we have a special prosecutor investigate Cantor?

I don't see a problem with that, as long as the special prosecutor knows math.

Jacobin: What's with Allen sending Jill 20,000 pages of emails?

I mean, doesn't he have a war to run. WTF is in all those emails?

There's a possibility that they're both the type that never cut out old emails/replies when they send out an email. So for six months they've been responding back and forth, never trimming a single line of text, so that the last email sent has the entire six month reply history on it.
