FTFA: It's in fact perfectly evident that Bill Clinton is very much in control with respect to 2012: He wants Barack Obama to lose, and is helping that cause.

For the first time, Mitt Romney is tracking at 50% in the newest Washington Post-ABC poll of likely voters. Romney leads President Barack Obama 50 to 47. This is just further evidence why I believe he will sweep the midwest and win this election going away. And I am now predicting a 330 electoral vote landslide. Yes, that's right. 330 electoral votes."

What a landslide might look like.

These pundits had a fundamental problem, they didn't understand that they were supposed to describe reality as it was happening, not dictate what reality was.

They really felt in their hearts that Romney would win, so to them that made it true. Just like they are so certain about climate change being "junk science", evolution being a lie, women being unable to conceive from rape, people never dying from a lack of health insurance, Hussein had WMD's, Obama was born in Kenya, ect. . .

Actually no, the margin of victory was approximately the same in all of the "swing" states. Had their prediction that the polls were oversampling democrats been correct it would have been a landslide for Romney. Change every state by 6 percentage points towards Romney and we would have swept the map.

"Nate Silver is a man of very small stature, a thin and effeminate man with a soft-sounding voice that sounds almost exactly like the "Mr. New Castrati" voice used by Rush Limbaugh on his program. In fact, Silver could easily be the poster child for the New Castrati in both image and sound. Nate Silver, like most liberal and leftist celebrities and favorites, might be of average intelligence but is surely not the genius he's made out to be. His political analyses are average at best and his projections, at least this year, are extremely biased in favor of the Democrats."

When this mobile container of pus and vitriol finally dies, his above quote should be carved into his tombstone along with his picture. Of course, the tombstone should be a Tombstone pizza that is the size of a wagon wheel.

I know I'm in the minority in the human race when it comes to basing my opinions based on evidence (and yes, I'm not always successful at achieving that), but these people who reject every piece of evidence that's contrary to what they want to be true make absolutely no sense to me.

Why set yourself up to get burned again and again?

My favorite flavor of GOP tears comes from Michael Barone. He predicted a 315-223 electoral "landslide" for Romney and after the election he called Obama's 332-206 electoral victory a "squeaker."

This whole thing has been a Atom Bomb of FAIL for the republican pundits. Watching them point fingers at each other has been just as entertaining. With luck they will never hear the end of this.

Sounds like a sound decision-making process.

What was the Republican polling method? Just listen to FOX News for the results and make up the polls to fit? Pray to Jebus for a Rmoney win and just put some stuff down that fits your prayers? Just know in your heart The Party is infallible and predict wins by The Party?
