Saints players told ESPN that Lofton ignored Babineaux and Weatherspoon as they shouted at him Sunday.

And that should've been the end of it. Instead you got these guys running to the media to cry about it. Weak.

Her name's Britney, not Brittany.

Brittany is a cultural region in Northwest France.

/and how's that 16-0 going for you, Roddy?

The Atlanta Falcons don't have much room to talk. When isn't Roddy White whining to the media?

Atlanta gets their undefeated season ruined, loses to the Saints for the 11th time in their last 13 meetings, Sean Payton may as well be paying rent to Mike Smith for living in his head, Roddy White pulled the "we beat ourselves" crybaby card, and THIS is the headline we get?

Win at least one Super Bowl, then talk trash, Falcons. The Saints had to endure being the laughing stock of the NFL for decades but finally earned the Lombardi.

They've been there.

Besides it was lofton talking shiat in the first place, besides he's not that good and definitely not worth the money he's being paid.

He was a big baby about the falcons not tendering him and acted like a biatch about it, he deserved to have shiat talked to him.

Wasn't around Sunday but they seemed to anxious in the game, penalized more than they had all year and for stupid shiat. It would have been moot if roddy would have just turned around and caught the deep pass.

Also, I saw the Chris Ivory highlight earlier today.

He should've Marshawn Lynch'ed the Falcons at the end.

Yeah they totally aren't getting the respect a team under .500 deserves. They won a division game at home! And they barely gave up 400 yards passing to Matt Ryan! Where's all the fawning? This headline disgusts me, I demand another.

Respect? Fawning? No, it'd just be cool to see the usual day-after rivalry thread in which the losing rival gets mocked in the headline. Keep thrashing that straw, dude.

Slow To Return: Didn't we already have a Saints/Falcons thread?

Eh, that was more a "Mercury Morris is a farking loser" thread, hehe...headline was about the 72 Dolphins, so appropriately the thread was more or less about the 72 Dolphins and the celebration they don't actually do when the last undefeated goes down.

Yeah they won a game. Clearly this headline doesn't sufficiently commemorate that for some people.

It is a freaking travesty. I'm crying real big tears that you didn't get your very own Saints friendly headline to mock the team that is 4 games up on you in the division.

I don't know, maybe go ahead and mock them in this thread if you can somehow manage to deal with the disappointment. Or the other thread about this one game the Saints won Link. Two threads in three days about the victory just isn't enough, hopefully we get one every day this week.

trash talking is one thing.....interfering with someone pre-game is crossing the line. that's football 101 from pop warner on up. it's like not letting the opposing team finish a layup drill/shoot around in basketball without interruption.

Actually, I said they were going to win before the game. Doesn't make me mad at all, in fact, they are going to win this week too. Don't care, they aren't in the same conference. Maybe someone will be able to craft a headline you and Rob deem worthy of commemorating them getting to .500.

I think it's something like 45% of the time that the last undefeated team makes it to the championship game. So, it looks like the Falcons might actually have a legitimate shot at losing the Superbowl this year.

No, they're very likely to get smoked in the divisional round, assuming they don't have some sort of late year collapse that drops them to a lower seed. It looks a lot like they're a decent team that's benefited greatly from one of the weakest schedules in the NFL, while a team like Carolina (4th hardest slate of opposing defenses, 1st hardest slate of opposing offenses so far) hasn't been so lucky. The cupcake feast for the Panthers (in so far as they have one) is just about to start. So they should make a little bit of a too late season run and get people talking. More over from the shiat Falcons' players talk, I don't think they understand how well they really appear to be performing. What Sun Tzu said about knowing oneself comes to mind for some reason.

You're going to have provide some sources for your allegation of Lofton talking shiat first. You won't, but it'll still be fun to watch you try to change the subject.

/Between Republicans and Falcon's fans, I've had about all the butthurt whining I can handle for the year...

Why are the Saints complaining? The trash talking is probably what inspired their win...
