Well, after all, he did let Luke whail away at him with Obi-Wan's light saber for a good ten minutes before he finally lost his patience with the little ingrate. You can't say he didn't warn him. AND he offered to overthrow the Emperor and rule the galaxy together, but the little goody-two-shoes threw it right back in his face.

Oh wait, you mean the little kid in the video? Yeah, that's cute. Dusty in here and all, etc.

This wasn't so cool when my dad did this to me dressed as Joan Crawford.

The sappiest, silliest thing I've ever seen. Now if you will excuse me, I need to take my allergy medication. I must have walked through a huge cloud of dust or something.....

He had Anakin's lightsaber, not Obi-Wan's. Obi-Wan's lightsaber was thereafter stored in Vader's castle on Vjun until it was retrieved by Anakin Solo and company

I usually hate the way these things get popularized but yeah, that one was pretty cool. Would have been a tiny bit more cool if the Dad had actually said the line, but still, that was surprisingly heart-warming.

Is there a "rule" now that you can't announce to your kids that you're coming home?
Like EVERY SINGLE return has to be done in secret?

Hey subby, that exchange you're talking about happened in Empire Strikes Back. This kid and his father played out the duel that happened in front of Palpatine on the second Death Star. The line should have been "Luke, help me take this mask off".

Happy belated Veteran's Day to all the Vets. Thank you for your service, without it we couldn't have FARK.

I don't mind. Every single troop coming home deserves to have their moment. Every single one is a Dad or Mom, a daughter or son, a brother or a sister coming home to their family. It's another family reunited. If they want to do something like this I'm 100% for it. I will never hate on it and I don't know a person who would, well, besides you.

Why do all these videos of military parents surprising their kids make my room all dusty? I'm not surprised when it happens.

Excuse me while I get the dust out of my eyes.

Thank you for sparing me from exposing myself as a geek due to nerd rage.
