I was listening to a morning radio show today, and they were talking about Dancing with the stars. And I just thought, how do people give an actual f*ck about that show? I find it to be the most, uninteresting, banal, boring, and mind-numbing thing on TV. And this is a guy who has Breaking Amish in his guilty pleasure DVR.

Humans have enjoyed watching other human dance for centuries. You'll get over it.

Nice try, jackass. But I liked So You Think You Can Dance.
Cause it had actual dancers.
Not last-ditch has-been semi-celebrities, and over the top desparation-reaking hosts/judges.

taxandspend: Hate it all you want, but I can only hope good things will come out of more Dancing With the Stars. Because more DWTS means more money for the BBC, which in turn hopefully means more money for Doctor Who.

Exactly. They can have Dancing with the Yaks in Mongolia for all I care, as long as they're paying the BBC for the format the BBC can pay for more of the Doctor.

Hey, look, DWTS is fun. There I said it. I mean, where else are you going to get to watch sixty year old washed up Scientologists dance a foxtrot to "Mrs. Robinson".

Out of context that's a sentence that belongs in a surrealist nightmare.

Had to google it to find out what DWGS is.

It's the lamer, less-titillating, more embarrassing version of "Battle of the Network Stars."

For you young'uns, that was a show on network television that featured celebrities competing in various sporting events. Many of the events for large-breasted celebrity women involved water.

It was a good show.
