theflatline: I worked for a company that built her an online community for her fans when she released her CD, and was privy to a conference call with her and her manager on why no one visited her community, and their third party advisor said "Well, no one is buying your cd, because no one likes your music or you." and her response was "BUT I AM ELVISES DAUGHTER".

Interesting choice of words, there, friendo.

Smackledorfer: cryinoutloud: Spanky_McFarksalot: when your rich you can afford to do things like this.

What I thought. If I had all the money in the world, I'd go live some wild alternative lifestyle too. And it wouldn't have anything to do with yachts or going to fashion shows or anything like that.

Shes been famous her whole life. Maybe she just got tired of it.

Yup. Though mine might involve a yacht. It would be cool to be the owner of a bar on a beach and never really have to be concerned with the profitability of the bar. You could just make sure it was the kind of bar YOU'D like to chill at after a day of fishing or whatever.

I think after a few years of being a deadbeat I'd break down and start keeping busy with charity work or something though. I'd certainly love to have all the nice things the wealthy do, but I can tell you right now they wouldn't be fulfilling in and of themselves.

That sounds amazing :-) I'd probably do something similar or move somewhere fairly remote just to get away from the world and enjoy some peace and quiet. As long as there's wi-fi.

Would you prefer one night in desperation this young woman breaks away and she buys a gun, steals a car, tries to run, but she don't get far....

Where ever there's a deep fryer, you're sure to find a Presley.

Clash City Farker: Is this why Elvis needed the boats? To catch the fish?

Well, him being "everywhere" would imply he's already in the water, isn't he?
