Good for him. I think too many people in combat sports focus on what it means to be a man and insert (lol I know) their own ideals, which usually insult others. I can not imagine what it must have been for him to come out and I am sure it lost him a lot of people he considered friends or trained with through his years, which is a real shame. When you train with people they become like siblings. My core fight-team are absolutely brothers to me, though I think the guys I am with would not disown me if I were gay (am not, but just saying), but I definitely have worked with some people that would.

Boxing is now officially a sport I will watch.

(Will officially watch a lot more MMA, however. You don't see moves like that on film except in porn. Yow!)
