(This Blog Sucks)   Remember Jon McNaughton, the man who made the picture of the President burning the constitution? Turns out his work is pretty expensive, so the American thinker uses this guy   (daletoons.blogspot.com) divider line 359

Hope

This painting has so much negative that I had to find a way to suggest that there is always hope. You will notice that the oil spill quietly funnels into a crack in the ground and eventually leads to small green sprout. Just as the oil will eventually become clean waters and wetlands again, so shall our country become clean again. But this may, like the small sprout, require an act of God.

Thats right kids, don't worry about that BP spill killing the wetlands and fouling the water. It will become clean again. Its those damned, godless, job killing regulations that lie to you saying you can't feed your plants crude!

It did dawn on me on my morning commute, watching the exhaust from the cars in front of me frost, that oil does become CO2 and H2O. We can burn our way out of water shortages.

This artist is like the Bob Ross of hero-derp.

"Happy little derps!"

Or is he more the Thomas Kinkade of hate?

Thomas Kinkade was already pretty hateful. In his personal life at least.

And then there's the farking golf... A "record" 108 rounds. In 4 years. That's 26 rounds a year. A four farking hour round of golf ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS.

I'm from Hawaii. Oh my god do we love our golf courses around here.

Know why? Because "executive vacation junket" is one of our chief tourist markets. Executives, they LOVE their golf. They like to golf and talk, golf and brag, golf and negotiate, and golf and golf. Nothing like four hours of getting a dozen executives together and be constantly moving in a big open space (know what's great about a big open space? It's hard to bug.), while doing something that gives plenty of opportunity for the male version of retail therapy, and doesn't require you to be a jock.

The President of the United States is its Chief Executive Officer. Which means he's kinda got to do the kinds of things that CEOs like.

But hey, if the rank and file GOP base can be fooled into thinking that millionaires really care about them...they can be fooled into thinking anything, including that Obama plays too much sport when he should be...what? Pleading with the GOP for more compromises? Personally telling private industry to create jobs, while cutting government employees and contracts?

Now watch this drive.

Aided and abetted by false imprisonment by the bus driver, don't forget that.

That's not a violation of parliamentary procedure, that's a felony.

Yeah, but you know what shows his TRUE attitude? He rides in a Cadillac Limo EVERY time he plays golf. Jeez, you'd think a "man of the people" would be humble enough to drive his own car and save all of our money on an '88 Ford Fiesta...

Coelacanth: Kittypie070: Their God is one with whom I was never acquainted.

I have walked up and down in the Net and seen many gods, and no other is so calculatedly cruel or spiteful, save only the weak, piddling handful of the gods of Chaos.

The only reason Christians and Muslims are so abundant is they have better marketing techniques. Not even some of the so-called lesser known 'evil religions' threatened to kill off entire entire cities unless they converted.

/Would've loved to have become a follower of Alfhild, the Scandinavian goddess of wrestling...

I appreciate a good Norse as much as the next man, but condemning the Abrahamic religions for savagery in the same breath seems disingenuous.

That's a perfectly valid observation.

As far as my own understanding goes, the Norse gods made no whitewashed excuses for their behaviour, nor did they beat into the ground the point of having "benevolent" motives.

True dat. Said bus driver needs to be subpœnaed and told that either he can take the felony fall himself, or he can turn in those who ordered and/or paid him to do it.

I'm a bit miffed that Jon Stewart did a whole segment on the far more famous but far less important DNC rigged vote, but neither he nor Colbert even mentioned this one to the best of my knowledge. Maybe they didn′t know about it.
