quickdraw: shastacola: Why is Glenn Beck choking a fox? I'd look it up on Urban Dictionary, but I'm afraid.

Im guess thats FOX network?

I dont know. Still makes no sense.

Well that's because you didn't ask an empty chair what should be painted after you took enough peyote to stop an elephant.

You sure that isn't from The Onion or something?

It looks more like the Oklahoma City building than the WTC.

Love how the only sympathetic black guy happens to be an unskilled laborer with a shovel, and he's dressed like a Carlton-esque dork.

Of course. Black people who don't dress like that are too attractive and successful.

Why would terrorists attack the UN? Moreover, why would conservatives see that as anything other than a victory?

That's what I'm saying. I think the "artist" is threatening to fly a plane into the UN.

But it's clearly the UN.

antidisestablishmentarianism: Speaking of McNaughton, has he put up any new work?

Yes. The latest is "Obamanation"

i.imgur.com

How do I know this?

I saw "One Nation Under Socialism" posted somewhere in the Politics tab. I thought it would be more derptastic with the flames animated.

i.imgur.com

I had to go to McNaughton's site to find a large source image to make a .gif.

I wasn't satisfied with just animating the flames, though. And so, thanks to GIMP 2.8 and a few bottles of La Fin du Monde:

I don't know... Mitt Romney is too much in the background, I would expect him to be more prominent, and the 'martyr' vibe to be at 11. McNaughton's a Mormon too, and I believe he lives in Utah County, which is to Utah what Utah is to the rest of the world when it comes to Mormons. As a result, I would expect him at this point to be painting something where Romney was in a big glowing pool of light, maybe with even a halo or a crown of thorns.

CSB:
I think we printed stuff for him at the place I worked at when I first moved to Utah, we were down in Provo, and did all of the local artists' stuff, Jesus Christ, there were shiatload of pics of Jesus Christ... One dude named Simon Dewey would crank that shiat out like crazy, actually pretty good work, but after a thousand of the same print, it got a little freaky. There was one day where one of the best artists had his new 'Jesus' come in check the new prints. After you''ve been looking at a print of Jesus all day, it causes a little bit of alarm to look up and see the dude walking in the door.

Cythraul: born_yesterday: I think what bothers me, aside from the vitriol inherent in all of them, is the sheer stupidity. As if his weak mind cannot argue a political point with any level of effectiveness, so "here's a hateful picture".

In any case, if he can get other hateful morans to pay for this garbage, more power to him.

I guess political derpiness is a good way for mediocre artists to make money. Not a very good artist? Just make it political.

Or make it porn.
