Would you just take a look at all that "corporate suit" speak. Do these guys have the slightest inkling how spewing a bunch of marketing buzzwords like this would actually be met with anything but derision and cynicism on the part of the consumer?

I will say that given her penchant for baths, dropping the Bberry in a bubblebath twice didn't break it, but the third time did. Thank goodness I can get access to a sealed jar with desiccant salt in it...

Well, it makes phone calls, texts, has e-mail and calendar are all integrated between the phone, tablet and computer. It does everything else I need it to.

What am I missing from these 'real phones' of which you speak?

IMHO those stats are BS or perhaps just dated. For example, this article (and many others) say RIM is under 7%.

I'd wager there are far more productivity application on both iOS and Android than your Blackberry.

aninconvenienterection: My wife loves her BB Bold Touch. If you only want a phone and email device it could be argued quite effectively that this is the best device for those two tasks.

As I continue to agree: If you want a device for Enterprise Messaging, there is nothing better than the Blackberry Bold 9900. If your business has BES servers, there in nothing better than Blackberry at this time. I can't tell you how many times I talk to business people who hate virtual keyboards, and wish they had their Blackberries back.

That information was for the current quarter market share which is not reflective of the worldwide distribution of smartphones in use.

RIM released Mobile Fusion last year, which essentially offers functionality similar to BES but across BB, Android, and iOS devices. Works like a champ.

I think folks in this thread are underestimating the number of black berries out there. Sure, they are not common among you 20 somethings but at least at the company where I work they are quite common. I would estimate that 25% of my coworkers have black berries. The place I work is a sizable corporation that is security oriented and they just have not gotten around to setting up their network security for anything other than black berry. I-phone and android users have a sort of back door but it is a pain in the ass to use. Its also a generational thing. All of the 35 and up crowd keeps the black berry. The younger folks say, "oh well, screw the network access". Which of course makes their phone mostly useless for work and limits their opportunity for advancement since they take forever to respond to e-mails (unlike the BB they cant link directly to their work e-mail account.)

Does the new blackberry support email sizes larger than 37kb yet, because I would really like t....
