Can't disagree with this. Phil Jackson had all the chances in the world and he couldn't get it done. The Lakers were never going to win a championship if they went with Phil Jackson. On the other hand, Mike D'Antoni won an Italian championship, and if you ask the experts, the Italian basketball championship is one of the fifty greatest accomplishments in the sport. In addition, Mike D'Antoni runs the "Seven Seconds or Less" offense. Absolutely incredible. I am not a basketball law-talking guy, but a professional basketball court is approximately 90 feet in diameter. Anyone who can run 90 feet in less than 7 seconds must be a crazy-good athlete.
