No thanks, I'd rather wait for the film.

I am with you on this one, unfortunately. It is sad when Coburn is considered the sane one of the DC delegation and after this last election it got worse.

before any regulation can be enacted, the agency must publish a 50-day notice int he federal register describing the proposed rule and giving the public sixty day to comment on it. Then they have to publish a notice of proposed rule-making, that publishes the exact text of the regulation, responds to every comment received during the 60 days and then gives a FURTHER 30 days for additional comment before the regulation is enacted. Furthermore, every agency publishes their "regulatory agenda" twice a year showing all the proposed rule and regulations they intend to enact in the next six months, and these agendas are easily accessible online at Reginfo.gov

How is it therefore even possible for there to BE a "surprise regulation"

As a guy who has been voting R in Marlyand for many years let me tell you that you did not throw your vote away by voting D. Even if your candidate didn't win if you keep making your voice heard it can be important.

Think about it this way, even if your state keeps electing derpy idiots like that one, Republican strategists watching the D votes catching up to R votes could make a difference eventually in the quality of the candidates the Republican party is nominating.

In my case the Republican party gets to watch as even more R votes in Maryland dissapear the more insane teh party gets... I stopped voting R this year, and a bunch of other former Republican voters I know did the same.

Dog Welder: And even more derp on "Obama's destroying oil production" in this country when it's been proven oil production is climbing quickly. Sorry, Teahadists, but we're drilling more oil in the U.S. than we've done under the past five presidents.

Ah typical dumb lib, falling for the 0bama propaganda. He wouldn't be able to destroy us like the "theif in the night" he truly is if he were to play his whole hand in the first term. The only reason domestic production is up is to lure the moderate Republican vote away from the GOP to win a second term. Now that he got his second term, KNOW that job and economy killing regulations are will be swiftly executed. And you dumb libs thought I was stupid for saying that 0bama is going to take away MY guns.

I know you're being silly, but; if Obama's track record on going after guns mirrors his track record at destroying domestic energy production, I say fark yeah. That means we'll have a national concealed carry permit by the end of next year!

jayhawk88: Just think: Somewhere you have a second cousin or aunt typing in his or her credit card number to order this book, right now.

Actually, in my family, the opposite has happened this year. After Sheldon Adelson started funding Mitt Rmoney and the NRA endorsed him, my dad decided he was going to vote Democratic for the first time since Reagan. After the Jeep ad started running in Ohio (where my Republican-voting aunt lives, and where a vote actually matters), my Aunt decided that Rmoney was not to be trusted. She's also not crazy about the Mormons after living here in rural Mormon Arizona. I'm so proud of them both.

I thought you were GOING to do that. Or was it that you were going to become a Limbaugh-style paranoid radio/TV pundit and start raking in the advertising dough? You could do both: Write your fearmongering book, and then start flogging it on your pundit's show.

Sucks, because I work for a living.
