Really? Just stop by anywhere in the coastal lowlands of Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina. I assure you, there is no shortage of those farkers. Take as many as you want.

Not enough cockroaches, but more than enough fools to allow them to be dumped on. If you are ever in a situation where people are dumping cockroaches on your head, it's time to questions the life choices that got you there.

If I really believed Global Warming was killing off cockroaches, I'd keep my SUV running 24/7

Because at 7:30 in the morning I really wanted to see a blown-up picture of two giant roaches

Wait, I though these things were supposed to outlive us in a nuclear war. And now we're conquering them through global warming?

Am I the only who thought that they went to professional bug farmers to get the insects they need for these types of things? Like it would be more cost effective to do so?

Here is a graph of the most recent 15 years worth of data (that's 180 months, for you math majors), exactly as reported by the Met Office Hadley Centre (the best climate change and prediction research institute in the history of the known universe) in their HADCRUT3 data:

Just imagine how many of these cockroaches would have been killed off by global warming, if it were, you know, actually warming.

"If they don't find enough they'll have to change the trials."

They could always throw contestants into a room chock-full of lawyers, car salesmen and debt collectors instead.

/they're kind of like cockroaches, right?

This is Australia we're talking about here.
They've had enough problems with invasive species - mice, rabbits, toads..

Those American roaches (yes, that is an individual species!) would probably have a field day down there.

Palmetto bugs are American Cockroaches. The smaller kind are German Cockroaches. The GC's are typically the species that people find in their home.
