Huh, my wife makes pancakes with salak mixed in on the weekends. It's good stuff, especially with bananas.

The in-laws bring salak every time they visit from Kelantan. Mrs. Aboleth love them.

Not even once. Except if it's dodol. Maybe.

After hearing horror-stories from a friend of mine who lived in Malaysia for a year, I don't even want to get near those things. Evidently, huge truckloads of them would come fresh out of the jungle and you could smell the stench for miles.


It's tasty. Then again grew up eating all the fruits mentioned in this thread.
