Why the fark aren't those tourists doing everything in their power to help save the artifacts around them?

I am sure the reason they're such farkwits is the same reason white people aren't doing anything about global warming in the first place.

Flooding in Venice is hardly "new". It's been an ongoing problem for several centuries, much of it being exacerbated by the actions of the residents.

O my dear Venice who I haven't revisited yet in this lifetime. As much as I'm at home in Asia, the one past life I'm sure of is the Italy of Galileo's time.

Two things I will never forget about Venice. The beauty (slimy and crumbling) and the smell (oh god the smell)
