I really miss the seasonal [read: Christmasy] flavours of anything you can only get in the US.

ukexpat: Bought some Thai Curry flavour in the UK a few weeks ago - delish!

I read that as "Tim Curry flavour".

As much as I love peppermint chocolate I don't think it goes with potatoes.

- Why does this even exist. It looks so bad I have to try it just to see how bad it is.
- Ew, that's pretty gross, like salt & vinegar but somehow wrong and with a fake sweetness
- Alright, maybe just one more... I guess they're not bad... maybe my mouth is just getting numb
- Repeat above 3 steps
- Oh god, I ate the entire can, I want to curl up and die; I can't feel my tongue anymore.
- Oh well, at least I'll never buy them again.

*Recount story to friends* < this is never a good idea

HEY OHKI, LOOK WHAT WE BOUGHT FOR YOU!!

How about instead of making all these new flavors, the just make the FARKIN can just a little bit bigger, so us adults that have hands bigger than a child, can reach into the can to get them?

Hmmmmm??? 0_o

Yeah they were pretty thick from what I remember. I wish they'd bring them back.

Er. Bleh. Except the mint potato ones. Who doesn't like boiled potatoes with mint?

Are Americans just not that adventurous with chips? "Gourmet" flavoured chips are big here. Usually a supermarket will have an entire isle for chips. Apparently Americans don't have chicken chips, which is weird because that's on a level with not having ready salted chips in NZ. It sounds like you guys are missing out on a lot.

Chilli and sour cream
Garlic and linseed
Basil and pesto
Moroccan chicken
Lime and pepper
Salsa
Feta and garlic
Garlic Aeoli
Tzatziki with cucumber sauce
Grilled steak
Cheddar and Red Onion
Roast lamb and mint
Tomato Sauce (ketchup)

These are all available in any supermarket. They're not boutique brands or anything.

/Now I want some salt and vinegar chips

I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a small thing of paprika pringles from some guy outside the vatican a few years back, and it may be that I was starving, but they were awesome. I haven't seen them since. Sad story bro.

"Pringles. A brand of ultrathin potato crisps, sold in canisters that convert nicely into coin banks. All of you already knew this."

I thought we had sorted this one out.

Pringles are not crisps. They went to court and proved they were not.

Pringles 'are not potato crisps'
Pringles, the popular snack food in a tube, are not potato crisps, a High Court judge has ruled.
Potato only makes up 42% of the ingredients of Pringles.

It's the great Jaffa Cake clusterfark of '91 all over again.

Exactly. Jaffa cakes are cakes not biscuits because they go hard not soft when exposed to air. Pringles are not Potato Crisps. Radishes are made of meat. Counter intuitive I know but there you go.
