Minty Potatoes sounds like bad slashfic.

Eating those would be dependent on how much I'd had to drink.

I might try it....the pickle flavor wasn't bad.

The cinnamon and spice flavor is intriguing.

In general, I don't like roe, but a lot of people do.

I'll have it in monja, but that's about it.

Now monja, there's a food.

I've tried them. Definitely different, but better than it sounds. Not something I'd want to eat all year, though.

This is what happens when they start legalizing weed.

New potatoes with a bit of fresh mint are nice as it happens.
Not sure about the addition of white chocolate though.

/goes off to practice the Pringles trick.

I saw them at the store yesterday and did a double take when walking past them.

2012-11-12 06:52:16 AM
The only potato flavor left in pringles is what was put in it during processing. Starch wafers should be their legal name.

2012-11-12 06:57:32 AM
I enjoy Pringles while I am eating them, but I feel like absolute crap in the ensuing hours. Perhaps it's because I usually eat the whole stack in one sitting, but I think it's something more than that. The pizza-flavored ones are particularly good/bad.

Not as bad as the bullshiat Tastykake tried to sell us this summer.

I saw the pumpkin spice Pringles Saturday night at my local Walmart, which got me excited enough to buy the peppermint ones...if there had been any. So I grabbed two cans of the "loaded baked potato" flavor and a 2-litre of coke (What kind? Coke.) and went on my merry way.

I was slightly drunk at the time.

/Outback for dinner. 20 oz steak and three martinis.
//Never again.

I've seen ads for "cheeseburger-flavored" potato chips.

I'm not sure why something can't just taste like what it is. He said, clutching is bag of BBQ potato chips.

You can emulate the minty Pringle by just putting them in the fridge overnight.

I make my own minty pringles out of fried panty liners soaked in mouthwash.

Home-made is always better.

Minty freshness combined with the piquant flavor of puke? Uh, thanks but no.

2012-11-12 08:26:22 AM
My MiL makes a Christmas "candy" using melted white chocolate, broken up Ruffles (the large wavy kind) chips, and cocktail peanuts. We dubbed it "white trash." It is suprisingly good, but probably not with peppermint in it.

2012-11-12 08:33:39 AM
sour cream and onion is the only way to go

2012-11-12 08:44:04 AM
The cinnamon and spice are actually pretty good. They're a little sweet and a little salty. I can't really imagine the minty flavor being all that great though.

Pants full of macaroni!!: Minty freshness combined with the piquant flavor of puke? Uh, thanks but no.

I knew I couldn't be the only one who tasted a hint of vomit on pringles.

No, I think scarfing that many down at once explains it...

So I scanned the poorly written blog post and it seems that the writer and subby (the same person?) don't know what a candy cane is, if they both think that Cinnamon & Sugar and White Chocolate Peppermint are "candy cane flavor."

Ive been looking all over for these, no luck.

I thought they were more wheat, starch and vegetable ingredients than potato? I tried to Google it, but I get a bunch of silly health food blogs that seem to think every company that produces food is actively trying to give us cancer.

This headline made me throw up in my mouth a little.

awful

FTFY

Tried a can once.. got about 8 chips in, and tossed them. it wouldn't have been bad if they were JUST cinnamon and sugar.. but they also salted them like the normal chips. No thank you

Nah, theyre mostly dehydrated potato, pretty much the same as you get in a box of instant mashed potatoes.

I saw an ad in the paper the other day for Cake and Caramel flavored vodkas. Worst yet it was from a major brand IIRC. Smirnoff has Whipped Cream and Fluffed Marshmallow flavors. Id try them in shots, just to try it...but no way Im buying a whole bottle of each.

Ugh...that sounds almost as bad as Chocovine. I could barely drink a sip of that without wretching.

That's disgusting. There are many foods worth braving the green apple splatters for, this is not one of them.

OK i'll jump on the Cinnamon & Sugar band wagon. Saw them & the pumpkin spice the other day at Wal-Mart & figured what the heck worth a try. Both are decent, not something I'd want a lot of, but worth having around for holidays. Kind of like the holiday flavored coffee creamers. Good while they last, but not something you want all year.

Those vodkas are really good if you're making girly drinks. Whipped cream and marshmallow vodkas in hot chocolate is really good, as is caramel and cake vodkas in white russians.
