OtherBrotherDarryl: Women could vote in Wyoming as early as 1869.
vegasj: Why are black women so racist?
herrDrFarkenstein: And Mormons had not been invented.
jso2897: HotIgneous Intruder: Lost Thought 00: minoridiot: I thought votes were suppose to be secret. How did they acquire this data other than pulling it out of their assess?Exit polls. Basically, voluntary questionnaires outside of randomly selected polling placesJudas priest, are you idiots?I don't know if they're idiots, but they're a horrible f**king band.

Jim_Callahan: Um... not to rain on the dude's parade, but until the early 1900s the electoral college was appointed, for the most part, by the congresses, the methods only gradually shifted the the popular vote and winner-take-all method for the states gradually over the better part of a century.So... no, mostly wouldn't have looked like that at all, it would have looked precisely like a map of congressional majorities (or, in some states, governorships, or in some states district-by-district). This argument is retarded as presented. Its implication is also retarded, as the actual lead of GOP candidates among white males isn't actually as huge as presented, they're exaggerating it by magnifying it with an arbitrarily selected interpretation of how the EC works. It's like someone showed Nate Silver's maps to a three-year-old, told them that that was good and they should do that, and they (being three years old) responded on the assumption that the important part was having a shiny blue and red map, not the "actually knowing something about math and history" bit.
DamnYankees: I heard there's some map bouncing around right wing websites showing the results only if people who paid federal income tax voted. Anyone know about this?
thamike: So can we all agree that Conservatives are regressive?
ThatGuyFromTheInternet: OtherBrotherDarryl: Women could vote in Wyoming as early as 1869.Both of them?
The Onion is prophetic: There was only one Founding Father? Which one was he?
Lorelle: The BuzzFeed staffers seem to have forgotten that at America's founding, Obama wouldn't have been eligible to run for President.
