VOTE BUSH 2000.

George Bush is a true example of a COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATIVE. He will bring honor and decency back to the White House.

We agree that $1.25/gallon is a ludicrously high amount. George Bush is a former Oil Man with many close ties to arab oil interests. He'll be able to talk with the middle east and truly be the Inside Man to ease the stress on struggling motorists.

America is in no way the world's police, and has no business going abroad sacrificing young american lives telling other countries how they should be doing things. George Bush will put America first, and focus on true Homeland Security by dedicating his administration to a mighty MISSILE SHIELD.

We cannot have the proof... a smoking gun... to come in the form of a mushroom cloud. By building a Missile Shield, American families will be prototected from any and all harm from rogue nations. George Bush will combat the true dangers of the 21st century, all the while helping families grow at home.

By encouraging deregulation in the private healthcare and banking industry, free market forces will ensure competition drives prices down, making private healthcare and the American dream of home ownership affordable to all. It is unamerican to inject the Government in other people's business, and it is a core Republican belief that Government should be so small as to be able to drown it in your bathtub. Privacy, above all, is the God-given right of Americans.

Vote Compassionate Conservatism.
Vote fiscal responsibility.
Vote small Government.
Vote GOP.

Vote Bush 2000

Lorelle: FloydA: The righties aren't really that stupid, are they?

Why yes, they ARE. They thought they could sell Mitt Romney to us brown folks by spray-painting his face orange, remember??

I'm not convinced that was deliberate. They probably just accidentally left him outside over night and he started to rust.

I would support him running with his son, just so their campaign would be JOE BIDEN/BO BIDEN and their slogan could be "BANANA FANA FO FIDEN."

I'm thinking "Bourbon", "Hohenzollern", or "Hapsburg".

"Mussolini" might be a more politically advantageous last name to have than "Bush" at this point.

So, Romney ran on "I'm not Bush" and McCain ran on "I'm not Bush". Maybe this one will be a winner because he can't say that. Well, I guess he could in Spanish and most of the teabag brigade wouldn't know what the fark he was saying anyway.

Hell YES! Do it, Republicans! Don't listen to these namby pamby liberal naysayers... you have 3/4 track record of winning presidencies with guys name George Bush... if this was baseball, that'd be an incredible average. Roll with it... don't elect a weaker more "moderate" candidate to placate the liberals... vote from your gut.

I sure hope he does. I don't like having to learn stuff about candidates, like their record or stance on issues. I'd rather just be able to vote for someone based on their name. Kinda like a royal monarchy, but better, because I voted for it.

BoxOfBees: This thread proves how out of touch Farkers are. George P. Bush is at least 8 years away from a Republican presidential *primary*. The strategy is as follows: 1. Hispanics like George P. Bush and Marco Rubio run around speaking Espanol and saying good things about Republican values. 2. Marco Rubio loses the GOP primary but has a strong showing early on. 3. Christie wins the GOP primary. 4. Possibly Rubio is a VP pick if he doesn't prove too toxic to the party.

There will be relentless liberal attacks on Rubio for the next 4 years because right now he is the frontrunner. It will make the libs look bad and it will test the viability of Rubio as a candidate. The Republican strategy for the next presidential election is not only in place, it's almost a slam dunk winner. They will put forth a charismatic candidate while the Dems hem and haw and finally put forth a shrill, unappealing old white woman. Unless it's Cuomo, which would be the smart move for them.

Ah, yes. the tried and true GOP strategy of yelling "HEY, MINORITIES, WE GOT ONE TOO!"

Ask Sarah Palin and Herman Cain how well that has worked in the past.

While a Sophomore at Rice University, he broke into his ex-girlfriend's house at 4 a.m., by breaking her bedroom window and crawling thru it into her bedroom. He was confronted by and argued with her father and then left the house. He returned a short while later driving his car, and proceeded to drive back and forth across their front lawn destroying wide swathes of lawn, and the sprinkler system. He escaped arrest and trial, because the girl and her father declined to prosecute.

Youthful indiscretion......nothing to see here folks. Just another hot-headed bully intimidating a woman who had the good sense to leave him.

MFAWG: RoxtarRyan: MFAWG: George W Bush did very well among Hispanics in 2000, and only slightly less well in 2004.

Only because of his love of tacos. That game plan didn't work so well for the mayor of East Haven, CT.

Actually, no. In 2000 immigration was not a front burner issue yet. Don't assume the hispanic vote is now going Democratic for a generation.

I choose to assume this, and you can't stop me.

/Not planning on running for office or managing a campaign.
/The GOP and its followers could successfully court the Hispanic vote, just like they could pool their money and buy enough rockets to found a new conservative paradise on the right half of the moon. I'd say the odds of either of these things happening is roughly equal.

I was in high school when I heard this, and I'm not sure how accurate the information is but I seem to remember there was a poll conducted in like 1998 asking republicans who should run for president and George W. Bush was at the top of the list. What made this little factoid stick out for me was that people in the poll thought they were selecting George H. W. Bush instead.
