This thread proves how out of touch Farkers are. George P. Bush is at least 8 years away from a Republican presidential *primary*. The strategy is as follows: 1. Hispanics like George P. Bush and Marco Rubio run around speaking Espanol and saying good things about Republican values. 2. Marco Rubio loses the GOP primary but has a strong showing early on. 3. Christie wins the GOP primary. 4. Possibly Rubio is a VP pick if he doesn't prove too toxic to the party.

There will be relentless liberal attacks on Rubio for the next 4 years because right now he is the frontrunner. It will make the libs look bad and it will test the viability of Rubio as a candidate. The Republican strategy for the next presidential election is not only in place, it's almost a slam dunk winner. They will put forth a charismatic candidate while the Dems hem and haw and finally put forth a shrill, unappealing old white woman. Unless it's Cuomo, which would be the smart move for them.

Ah, yes. the tried and true GOP strategy of yelling "HEY, MINORITIES, WE GOT ONE TOO!"

Ask Sarah Palin and Herman Cain how well that has worked in the past.

abb3w: Gyrfalcon: Prescott Bush was one of the brain trust that tried to get FDR assassinated and replaced with a fascist leader because they liked Hitler's ideas so much and that is not a rumor or a conspiracy theory.

It is, however, still only supported by hearsay testimony.

Alas, this many years later, that's all it will ever be.

But when has that stopped anyone?

The eldest son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, who already leads the 2016 GOP presidential field

They should go with his other brother Neil. He has strong business credentials like Romney.
