FTA:"The most popular code of awakening - the one that most people see - is 11:11. This represents the spiraling twin strands of human DNA coming into consciousness."

All I know is it wigs me a little when I wake in the middle of the night and the clock says 1:11. Or start my truck and it's 11:11. If you ask people as I have some will see 2s or 4s all the time. Its really weird.

Google'd the 11:11 a while back and was blown away by all the sites that deal with this. Don't buy the angel or Mayan logic, but its definately a phenomenon.

Cognitive bias I know, but still weird.

Oh heavens!

If you construct a triangle with two sides of 11 inches, the third side ends up being 15.55 inches. 1555 is 1611 in the Hindu calendar of Vikram Samvat.

11 subtracted from 16 is five, the exact number of sides on a pentagram, a symbol invented by the ancient Sumerians. The ancient Sumerians were a very advanced people as a result of their association with Anunnaki, a race of space-traveling aliens. As a result of this association, the Sumerians knew much of the universe, including the location of Pluto.

Pluto, which finally receives word of its demotion to "minor planet 134340" in late 2012, elects a militant Republican leader and sends an invasion force to destroy the earth..

//The only thing I actually made up myself is the part about the invasion force.

The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3.

In binary, 73 is a palindrome, 1001001 which backwards is 1001001.

After awhile, I realized these were messages from communist space aliens who were in favor of a one-world government.

A trick I learned with 11 is split the numbers and add them together. 11 x 42 = 4, 4+2=6, 2 = 462
or 11*432 = 4, 4+3 , 3+2 . 2 = 4752

But it's also 2012 which can be abbreviated as simply 12 which would make that 12:12:12 which is something super crazy that means the world is going to end.

Some of the math tricks are interesting. But when people make crazy crap becuase a number subtracted from a number yields a number my mind isn't usually blown.

Having now read the rest of the thread and seeing that others also see 12:34 all the time, I'll note that it was a year or two after 9/11 when everyone was still seeing 9:11 on the clock, so when I started looking it was for a different time, and 12:34 was the first number that popped into mind, because it is sequential.

So far as I know : is used in ratios.

e.g. 4:3, for every three of something, there are four of something else.

The idea that a ratio of 11:11 (or 1:1, basically any even ratio means the same thing) is equal to four is nonsense.

So far as I know : is used in ratios.

e.g. 4:3, for every three of something, there are four of something else.

The idea that a ratio of 11:11 (or 1:1, basically any even ratio means the same thing) is equal to four is nonsense.

They're times. 11:11, i.e. 11am 11 minutes (or 11pm 11 minutes), and he's adding individual digits together.

LrdPhoenix: LavenderWolf: DontMakeMeComeBackThere: OK, I admit it, I hated math, and have forgotten most of the esoteric bits over the years... So, can some kind-hearted Farker math-wiz please explain what the frell "11:11=4" means? I honestly don't remember any ":" operator.

Thank you in advance, and have a nice Sunday.

So if they are times, shouldn't 11:11 be 121?

Here's an even freakier one:

(e^pi) - pi = 20

I typically notice 01:28, 05:12, 10:24, and 20:48 on my clock more often than not.

And also the following:
01:01
05:32
07:10
10:10
11:34
11:38
12:08
13:37

HotIgneous Intruder: Yeah. 1 divided by 12 equals 0.0833333338. So what?
Try this on for size:

12345679 * 9 = 111111111

12345679 * 18 = 222222222
(etc)
.

Nothing unusual at all, there, because of the properties of nine. A two digit multiple of nine will always add up to nine, with the singles digit regressing as the tens digit progresses.

mr_a: Oh heavens!

If you construct a triangle with two sides of 11 inches, the third side ends up being 15.55 inches.

Pretty sure it doesn't, pretty sure the third side could be any length you so decide it to be up to JUST short of 22 inches.

//Math, how werk it.

Take any three digit, non-repeating number (ie 222, 555) and subtract the reverse. The answer will always be such that the 1's place + the 100's place = 9. And the 10's place is always 9.

543-345= 198

532-235= (-)297 (yeah, absolute value only, but still...)

Actually, from a non-linear non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big bowl of wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff.

(Just to add a little more freaky)

That's weird, but you're missing an eight in your sequence. Your argument is invalid. In order for it to be weird, it needs to be a straight sequence of numbers. Weirder is pi. The longest number ever calculated and proves that there is no such thing as a perfect circle. No matter the resolution you go down to, there's still more calculation to do. It can be approximately calculated, but never exactly. An example below. 2.7bn places of precision... and still more to go. Not a single series of significant repeating digits outside of random chaff.

You can have a perfect circle, you're just using the wrong coordinate system.
