Aar1012: Krymson Tyde: I'm trying to figure out why the hell Bama chose to pass on 4th and goal rather than give Eddie Lacy the ball to run it in.

I'm trying to figure out if that kid that moved on the punt is going to still be alive come Monday

What makes you think he's alive today?

TAMU really could have blown the game late, not on defense, but on offense. That last drive, they could have let the play clock go down to 1 or 2 seconds before snapping the ball on every down, and have taken 20-25 seconds off the clock. Then that crazy punt play at the very end never would've happened.

Lacy has a concussion. Saban should be questioned about why he let Lacy get back on the field after he was knocked half out.

Mainly because you believe what the kid says after the hit, if he lies then why are you faulting saban for putting him back in. Incidentally this was one of the first helmet to helmet hits that didnt get called against bama, not making excuses for them but a lesser helmet to helmet hit was what allowed atm to take the lead.

Unposssible. The SEC refs always fix games for the team that has the best chance of playing for a BCS Championship.

Serious Black: Oh good farking God. Jeff Sagarin just released his ratings. Guess who's #1?

Ala-farking-Bama.

There is no god.

But in the actual rankings he submits to the BCS (which ignore margin of victory per BCS regulations), he has Alabama 9th.

Texas aTm was never more than a middle-of-the-pack team in the Big 12.
Aggies would beat OU about once every 4 years and beat Texas once every 3 years but never both in the same year.
Then the Aggies would split with be either 2-1 or 1-2 vs. Baylor, Tech and Okie Lite.
They finish they year with between 3 and 5 conference losses.
Looks like maybe their SEC schedule is soft by comparison.

A&M has a brand new coaching staff with a dynamic new quarterback. This isn't the same A&M team. And outside of KSU and maybe OU, there is not one team in the Big 12 who could hang with TAMU this year. Go back to Shaggy Bevo and continue to plot ways to get Mack Brown fired.

steamingpile: It is funny to watch bama lose though, although I still think the refs missed a couple helmet to helmet hits on their last drive, one on mccarron at the 2 yard line that would have made it first and goal.

A&M also had three, not two, interceptions that game. The refs screwed up one of them. Alabama doesn't get to hide behind officiating. They got outplayed.

Hell they didn't have to make wrong calls to fix the game. The Chris Christie umpire sat his arse on the ball every single play until Alabama was finished with its defensive substitutions. He doesn't do that and A&M easily hangs 30 or 40 on bama in the first half

And on TideFans today people are complaining that running players on and off to make defensive substitutions every time A&M made a substitution wore the players out and contributed to the A&M win! Alabama fans are, as a whole, some of the least informed football fans in America. Had Bama not slow-trotted around all game its defense would have dropped dead.

You obviously didn't get the memo. The only team that can beat Alabama is Alabama, through their own mental weakness. So you see, last week, when Alabama was beating the crap out of Alabama in Baton Rouge, McCarron had to save the game from the other Alabama, which was clearly the better team. This week in their own stadium, Alabama ran up a quick 20 points on Alabama before they all calmed down to make a game of it. The problem was that at the end, that part of Alabama which is the only team that can beat Alabama, scored more points. Alabama is still unbeatable and unbeaten. They only lost to themselves.

And that is why a 1 loss Alabama is still undefeated.

My understanding is that an offense which substitutes players between plays must allow the defense a reasonable time to substitute players between those plays. I've seen behavior like that several times in Big 12 games this season.

This year, Texas A&M and Texas both played night games at Ole Miss.
Texas A&M rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Ole Miss 30-27.
Texas whipped them 66-31.

Texas A&M would have four losses already if they played in the Big 12 this year. They have 2 losses in the SEC. You figure it out.

Yeah, except A&M didn't substitute very often, that is how they can run the hurry up in the first place

Yes because a game in which a normally high flying offense commit 6 turnovers is a completely accurate measurement. The fact that they won while doing so is an accomplishment in and of itself.

If Texas can't hold freaking Baylor to under 50, they have absolutely no chance against A&M

I argued with two of these idiots yesterday who were trying to say they had a better QB last year, the one who was forced to play WR the previous two years and went back to QB out of necessity and not because he was a good QB. The fact the dolphins took him should prove how bad a QB he really is, and the fact he threw 3 ints today really proves it, has he set the record for most ints in a rookie season yet?

This SEC homer is ready for no SEC teams in the championship.

What?? You haven't got the new Shaggybevo memo? Even with a new coach from C-USA, a new AD, a new OC, a new DC, a new conference and offensive scheme, this is the same old ATM from last year. And even though the left the BIG12 last year, they're still a BIG12 team when it comes to arguments.

I think people would be more apt to listen to you if you weren't wrong within the last two years.

2010:

Oklahoma - 19
Texas A&M - 33

Texas A&M - 24
Texas - 17

I think its safe to say this is just somebody who's pissed two of the upper tier programs jumped off the big 12 ship as its going down. He knows that if KSU were to play in the sec they would have two losses already and Texas/ou would have 4 each.

I think my A&M co-workers are still drunk today.

And the Longhorn guys are hanging their heads.
