(Chicago Trib)   Notre Dame is 10-0, and the BCS will undoubtedly find a way to make up some sort of mathematical formula that will keep them out of the #1 spot, but the Coach's poll should get it right   (chicagotribune.com ) divider line

chuggernaught: We know Nebraska is better than Michigan this year, because they played and Nebraska won.

Not to take away from Nebraska's record, they won fair and square, but they're the only team that faced Michigan's third-string QB.

ScouserDuck: Oregon isn't crying.

Sure they are. They won't shut up about the "nobody will schedule us" talking point. Go look at any comments board on any ESPN college football article.

Oregon fans are just calling out a program for being pussies. Oregon said, "hey, let's reschedule." K state said "thanks but no thanks."

Only Oregon fans continue to believe that's how things happened. If only the Pac-12 were a strong enough conference where Oregon fans didn't have to worry so much about this. If only Oregon could've managed to put together a better OOC than Tennessee Tech, Arkansas State and Fresno State.

Why would Oregon care, since they'll be No. 1 at the end of the year if they win out?

Do you know how to read? If Oregon wins out they'll be number 1. Period. Our OOC schedule doesn't matter.

I guess it's my fault that I expected elementary critical thinking and reading skills from a fan of a Big 12 school.

Just in case you have 0 ability to make basic inferences I'm saying that you probably aren't very smart.

Yeah, Alabama losing changed that. Before then it sure did, and yet Oregon fans still have a hard time letting it go.

You're right, had bama not lost Oregon would have been #2 keeping k state out of the big one.

Bottom line: Oregon wins out they're ranked #1 regardless of OOC schedule. Kansas state had a chance to reschedule Oregon and didn't want to. Oregon wanted to reschedule so that they could play LSU. K state used it as a way to pussy out of an agreement made by the previous coach.

Lets recap: Oregon wins out = #1.
Kansas State, no matter their record, pussies.
